The staff are wonderful! I was treated like family, they have my utmost respect!! Even though I was stuck in my room for my full visit their PT and OT would come to my room for therapy. I would recommend MediLodge to anyone that reads this review.

Do not ever send your loved ones to this place. The staff are awful and my family member was so ill after leaving this place that was supposed to rehabilitate him that he is back in the hospital in worse shape than he was in. To give you an idea… he had open heart surgery and was there for rehabilitation- he got COVID, then pneumonia and now has to be shocked to regulate his heart rate. The nurses were not careful, they kept his room cold and he had a hard time just getting a blanket. When cleaning his surgical site he sat 30 minutes with his shirt off and brace off and as I said, it was very cold. It took an hour at times to get someone to answer the nurse call button. When he started feeling like he couldn’t breathe and asked to be sent back to the hospital they flat out refused. They didn’t listen to the patient. This is when he got diagnosed with pneumonia… a day after he first asked to go to the hospital. It took a day for them to listen! That may not seem like to long for most but he had just had a triple bypass open heart surgery. Shame on you Medilodge!!! You cannot treat people like that! In fact it’s your job to listen and keep people comfortable!! When you don’t do your job you are risking people’s health and lives! It’s your job!! If there was an option to choose no stars I would have done just that!
Welcoming staff are awesome each time I have visited. Patient staffers and nurses are always pleasant and helpful. My aunt gets the assistance when she needs it and has fun with all the activities each day. At 100 she enjoys herself there.
My husband just became a patient at Medilodge of Okemos. I am very impressed by the security level there to keep their patients and visitors safe. He was immediately welcomed by the staff who are awesome and caring. Glad we made the choice to have him there for rehab from a broken leg.
I have spent 30. Years in the sales industry and have been in dozens of medical centers….. none that had such a Clean fresh fragrance as I experienced today. I have always judged cleanliness by how my nose reacts……. I trust you are taking care of your house keepers……Jack Randall Cook
