My dad was put into this facility for aftercare due to hip surgery. I have been absolutely blown away by the level of dignity afforded to the patients there. The staff seems to genuinely love them, and the quality of care is amazing. I would highly recommend Medilodge by the Shore.

Very racist facility do not put you African American family here administrator is racist & I caught her mocking the way we talk ! she doesn’t care for African Americans that speaks volumes on this facility!!! Find somewhere else !!!!
The nurse aid was taking to long when I needed pain medication or to used the bathroom the first few nights one was young and was telling me I couldn’t be independently please hire the right people they not doing their jobs they chat more than doing their job to much while we in pain or need something thank you 😡
Very nice facility. Gives a lot of information for the residents and family. Very up front about details. Saw a large number of staff assisting residents. I like that they are not afraid of technology to help keep the facility up to date. Check in was easy. They even have birds and fish for the residents?
My mom got placed here and had to spend 2 nights there. I fought to get her out as soon as possible. They did not have her medication. They threw her belongings on her bed and left her alone. She had hip surgery and was restricted from moving. She did not have a nurse call button. She was told she needed her own walker before she could use the bathroom. At 9:00 on Sunday evening we had to scramble to get her a Walker there. They forgot her breakfast. She had no remote control and her tv was half covered. Do not send a loved one there please.
