I love coming to Meadowbrook. The residents are wonderful and the staff is caring and engaging. They have good people working to keep residents safe and comfortable. It’s a fun place to be. They always have events and activities happening. I’m a former employee and a current vendor. Meadowbrook will always be special to me.
I was able to visit Meadowbrook Senior Living this week, what a beautiful community. Staff and residents were so friendly. The tour was very organized and received excellent information on rooms options, amenities, dining and lots of activities. Time well spent and would make this top on my list.
I want to express how grateful and pleased I am with Meadowbrook Senior Living in Prairie Village, KS. My parents moved from South Carolina on April 10, 2024 and my mom had an accident on April 27th. My dad traveled between the hospital and their apartment everyday until my mom moved back home in June. This senior living community is like no other in the city. It is truly a place of beauty, fun, fellowship, and love. Every staff member and resident have continuously shown incredible care, friendship, and true community to my parents and our entire family. The residents are so welcoming to each other and there is no pretension just honest to goodness friendliness and community. My heart is so peaceful knowing they are safe, well cared for, and thriving. Thank you to everyone at Meadowbrook that makes this transition in my parents and our family’s life something to celebrate! One more thing - their PT,OT, Speech therapy provided by Lakeview Village is TOP NOTCH. My mom spent weeks at St Luke’s Rehab Institute and Ability KC and the transition to Lakeview is outstanding. Also the medical care access at Meadowbrook is seamless! Outstanding geriatric care and support staff.
I worked a vendor event and had time to visit with several of the residents in this facility. I am a former Director of Nursing in LTC. Upon entering the facility it felt warm and welcoming. The residents were engaged in activities and seemed genuinely happy. The staff was friendly and the food was very good. Coming from the LTC environment, some of the most important features besides nursing care, are a strong activity program and an exceptional kitchen. This facility seems to have it all.
