My mother was a resident of Mayfair Village for 10 years, until passing away recently. I can not say enough good things about this facility. My mother was more than a resident, she was a member of the Mayfair family and they treated her as such. Mayfair was always great with communication if there were any concerns with my mom and they treated me as family as well. The staff is compassionate and extremely dedicated, I rarely saw “new faces” as far as the staff. When my mother passed the staff was shaken as if they lost a family member as well, which in actuality they did. If you’re looking for a facility for your loved one to be safe, cared for and loved, look no further than Mayfair Village. There will always be a place in my heart for Mayfair, I owe them more than words can express. Thank you for 10 years of comfort, care and love.
My Father spent seven months at Mayfair Village and enjoyed every minute. The staff was pleasant and attentive to his day to day needs. The facility was very clean and well kept both inside and out. The staff was great at keeping everyone busy with games events and music on a daily basis. I would highly recommend Mayfair Village for anyone looking for the best care for their parents or grandparents. Thanks you to the staff for the caring atmosphere that my Father enjoyed while in your care.
Mayfair Village has an excellent staff from the director to the receptionist! They are truly people oriented folks with terrific personalities! My mom has been living here for four years and her medical situation has been complicated. The nursing staff has been supportive in helping me to make informed decisions about her care. Assisting an aging parent is rarely simple but I feel as though the Mayfair staff has helped me with every step along the way to understand the complex issues surrounding her care. I feel as though I have a partner in caring for my mom.
The building may not be shiny and new but it is very clean and solid. The real gem here is the staff and the community they create. I have repeatedly been so warmed by the personal observations staff members and administrators shared with me about Dad and his activities and his conversations with them -- even staff I'd never realized were interacting with him. I got lots of very good regular feedback about how he was feeling, how he was eating, how he was socializing, and so much more. Mayfair feels like a home first and a business second. Dad's activities were built around personal relationships with the staff and the other residents rather than around babysitting. He made friends there that he would NEVER have ventured out to meet when he lived at home. Dad looked at six other nearby places and chose Mayfair easily over the others because they all felt cold and impersonal to him in comparison. It's just an added bonus that Mayfair was more affordable than all the others.
