It was a nightmare! My brother took my mom there and they were very disappointed. I went to visit her yesterday and this nurse, Kristine, kept hovering around the hallway and looking in her room. She finally came in and said that she thought was taking my mom somewhere. I was there to have lunch with her. Kristine went on to complain that my mother hadn't taken her medication at the right time. I found that funny because the night before, she was supposed to take her medication at 9 pm and it wasn't brought to her until 10:30 pm! When I mentioned that, she got an attitude about it. They brought her lunch and asked if she wanted it. She declined but wanted her dessert. The staff person offered to take the Saran Wrap off of the plate. She wasn't wearing a mask and she wasn't wearing protective gloves. Who knows where her hands had been?! We started eating and kept having to wave gnats away from our food! Her sleeping space was as big as a closet a very cramped. I told my brother that we had to get her out of there asap! You hear the stories about places like these and, until you experience it, you don't want to believe they're true but they are. I wouldn't let my dad stay there and he's already dead! It's just a place that wants your money and, from what I experienced, the staff just wants a check because they didn't seem like they cared one bit. Either train your staff to be more caring or shut it down because it's not worth keeping open. I'll be sure to let everyone I know not to leave a loved one there!

I can't say enough good things about Mayfair Village Nursing Care Center. The staff are compassionate, professional and truly go above and beyond to make residents feel at home. The facility is clean, welcoming, and well maintained, with a warm and friendly atmosphere that you notice the moment you walk in. My experience with their care team has been nothing short of outstanding. They are attentive, kind, and always communicate clearly. I highly recommend Mayfair Village to anyone looking for quality long term care.
My mother has stayed in multiple skilled nursing facilities over the years and all have been problematic in multiple ways. From the moment I walked into the are of Mayfair where the patient rooms are I felt like this would be a different experience and I was pleasantly proven right! The nurse’s station is central to each hallway, patients that were in the hall or public areas were clean, fully dressed and (best of all) smiling! Any concerns I’ve had have been promptly and completely addressed by staff. My mother isn’t begging to come home each day (as she had at past facilities). Staff really seem to know her and she them. It’s obvious that mom has a few favorites and I can see why. Cooky (Admissions) is always so patient and responsive! Ashleigh and J’la are both very quick to address patient needs and they both know how to make my mom smile and laugh! The nurses are all responsive. I haven’t learned all their names, but Adelaide comes to mind. The activities director, Tonya is always willing to help patient find things to occupy their free time. Mom loves Bingo! The therapist are all patient and are helping mom recover from her stroke. Its a slow and steady process. No facility is perfect, but this is one of the bests we have experienced to date!
Great place to go for recovery after surgery. Beest aids and nurse's very friendly. Shout out to Ashlee Boyd she gets 6 stars
Excellent staff!! My mom has stayed at Mayfair Village Nursing Center many times over the past several years. The staff are friendly and accommodating. My mom is a dialysis patient and after her first hospitalization requiring skilled nursing, we selected a site with Dialysis on-site to avoid transportation to a dialysis facility. We quickly realized that just having Dialysis on-site was not the most important thing. We found that for us, the attitude of the staff was the most important thing. The staff at Mayfair Nursing Center scheduled transportation to and from Dialysis for my mom the entire time she was there.. The positive attitude and compassion of the Mayfair Nursing Center staff has helped my mom through some really tough times while she was there. I would highly recommend this facility if you’re looking for skilled nursing or long-term care.
