The facility is recommended when it comes to care. Great employees, full of empathy and heart. I knew my mother was well cared for. As far as administration is concerned, there is still a lot of room for improvement. If you still have to discuss incorrect billing two months after your mother's death and you are provided with incorrect figures, that is unacceptable.

My grandpa has been living in a full-time care facility for a few months now. The staff are always friendly and attentive, giving us as a family the security we crave. The facility is clean, and all the residents seem happy and content.
Very nice residential complex! I am very impressed by the team spirit and the friendliness of the employees, as I am an employee myself. The facility looks very well maintained. The mood in the team is also very positive. I look forward to greeting the residents with a smile every day.
My grandmother has lived in Maternus for years and is very happy. Outpatient care responds individually to your needs. The combination of assisted living and full-time inpatient care gives us, as a family, the security that she is always in good hands. A great facility with friendly staff. However, the house would benefit from modernization, such as renewing common areas and expanding the WiFi.
Wasn't there in the house but in their dementia shared apartments. In itself it was ok, the salary is comparatively less, but especially in the shared apartments the work wasn't too stressful, even though some of the relatives expect a lot. I thought it was cool that someone there could contribute to the costs and also eat, which is not allowed in many houses/living situations. What I also have to admit is that I was sick for a long time and didn't behave 100% correctly, and I wasn't terminated. As far as I can tell, they tried to find a solution when there were problems. But some things were very difficult to handle, e.g. internal problems that were big for me, where someone (the belief is false, and out of hate motives) claimed that someone else wanted to steal. Unfortunately, these were not easy topics, which, among other things, cannot (unfortunately) be proven because, for example, there is no camera surveillance. Otherwise I would only be able to mention the general "care problems", for example services are often only 6-7 hours long, which results in an almost permanent 6-day week with a 40-hour week. Material was really acceptable unlike many other places. Since I was completely new to the job, I would have wished in retrospect that superiors would talk about known, problematic employees and, if necessary, give help on how to deal with the behavior well, if necessary also discuss the course of it and see that the person behaved accordingly. It was also difficult that residents caused severe psychological harm to other residents over a long period of time, but somehow no real consequences were imposed on the residents. As I understand it, it's not easy for someone, for example. but it should have been done, or at least made this clear, maybe it would have changed something. There is a star deduction because of 2 things. It is the standard somewhere to concentrate a lot of power in a few positions, but here it was clearly exploited in one case. The company could perhaps create more control mechanisms. Furthermore, because I accidentally sent a personal document there with my papers and it was neither sent back nor was the error communicated, no, I found out about this about 1 year later because 2 employees discussed the contents of this confidential medical letter during a conversation outside and also misrepresented it. *Addendum: I remembered that unfortunately (I can't remember 100% where) it was in the employment contract or was instructed not to talk about salary. Unfortunately, this is not in accordance with the law.
