Masonicare in Mystic was such a blessing for my mother and our family. We always felt they cared and that she was safe and in good hands. The staff was always kind to her and very patient. They went above and beyond in so many ways. I am so grateful for the folks at Masonicare.

This facility has a Management who support their staff to verbally attack people. Management is dishonest and careless towards staff who come to help them when they are dealing with staff shortage and they do not care to properly train their staff before they seek outside help for their staffing shortage. Management is not willing to listen to this concern about the poor level of communication of their staff towards people and a management staff who goes by the name of Sarah said that she doesn't have the time to listen to this concern and talking about it is wasting her time. If they allow such a toxic treatment of their staff to verbally attack people who come to help their staffing shortages, It should not be a surprise if their staff also verbally attack residents and family members of this facility because according to management it is a waste of their time to hear this concern of their staff who verbally attack people.
Masonicare at Mystic has been a Godsend for my parents and our family. The facilities are beautiful and all the people working there, from the front desk to dining facility to security and transportation staff, really care for the residents. It is much more than a job for them. My father is now needing to be transferred to memory care and the staff is extremely helpful in helping us make this decision. I don't know what we would have done without them.

Had a close family friend who was like a Grandmother to my family finish her years here. The facilities were always clean, her unit was spacious with modern amenities and there was always plenty of activities for her to do in the "common area" ( not sure what its referred to as ). Staff was always friendly. Grounds were kept nice outside all times of the year. She would tell you how it was during her time, and she never complained here so, knowing her personally that said something right there.
