My (almost) 91 year old mother has been living at Middlewoods of Farmington since 2019. She has had exceptional care right from the start and she loves the staff. She has an active social life there, attending activities and performances, and has made friends with other residents as well. Her health has actually improved since moving there, given that she is eating healthier and is socializing more. My Mom is safe and happy, and that makes me happy.

My 89 year old mother has lived at Middlewoods of Farmington for 6 months and our family is very thankful. The staff is caring and friendly. Fellow residents are wonderful. Moving there has been the BEST thing for my mother. She was living alone and benefits greatly from a safe, caring environment with socialization. Covid has been challenging everywhere, but Middlewoods has handled it exceptionally well. They have been creative with providing activities for residents. By the way, my mother really likes the food too. I spent a long time researching places for my mom, and Middlewoods is a home run! My mom and our family could not be more pleased with the choice.
When my mother in law moved to Middlewoods of Farmington in December of 2016, our family knew we had made the right choice for her. At the time , she needed some assistance, but was still able to live relatively independently. Our family was impressed with the upbeat atmosphere, wide variety of activities, and caring staff that make Middlewoods a very special place to live. My mother in law developed a strong bond with the activities director and forged wonderful friendships with many of the residents. Oh, and the delicious meals and wonderful wait staff under Loretta's direction are superb! This past winter my mother in law's health declined significantly. She took a couple of falls and spent several weeks in Rehab. Bianca, the executive director, could not have been more accommodating to our family as we considered what our next steps would be since she now needs 24 hour care. We wanted her to continue living at Middlewoods, but in order to accommodate a live in CNA, she would need a larger apartment. Bianca and Ginny quickly stepped up and arranged for the perfect two room, two bath suite for her! My husband and I live out of town so while we were visiting her daily in Rehab and waiting for her new apartment to be ready, Bianca even let my husband and me stay in her old room AND enjoy meals in the dining room! We were so grateful for this generous act of kindness. We would highly recommend Middlewoods to any families considering an assisted living residence for their elderly family members. In addition to providing a wonderful living environment, the entire staff of Middlewoods including the caring nurses, Mary Ellen, Linda, and Pat work with families to cater to the ongoing health and living needs of each resident to provide the best possible living situation as their health needs change. My folks have moved to Middlewoods and we are so happy with all the help we have received getting them settled. They have a lovely room and are thrilled with the caring staff. My Mom stays busy with all the activities and both parents attend the wonderful entertainment that is offered frequently. This has been a wonderful solution for my sister and I since I live in Colorado. We couldn't be happier with Middlewoods and highly recommend both the facility and the staff.
From top to bottom, the caring and competent staff at Middlewoods takes exceptional care of residents, offering varied activities, nursing care, entertainment, good food, and cultural excursions. Middlewoods provides an outstanding family/community home atmosphere for the seniors who live there, and fine support for children who now can have peace of mind knowing folks are safe and thriving, to the fullest extent possible. The love extended to residents and families is a vibe you feel as you walk in the door - in contrast to many for-profit assisted living "businesses." This was definitely the right choice for my folks!
