My son showed up there for help detoxing from alcohol, as he was experiencing terrible withdrawal. He was turned away, and was told to go to the hospital. I called the facility to get contact information for the Director, Matt Grafton, to make him aware of the situation, and gain some understanding regarding their reasoning for turning him away. They provided his contact email, but when I attempted to send him an email, he had blocked me from contacting him. They are known for taking heroine addicts to get them clean and lower their tolerance, so they can go right back out and use again. When they have someone who genuinely needs help to get sober, they turn him away. This place is so unprofessional!
Recovery is here! First step is detox, then residential and then they can link you to a long-term program afterwards. I appreciate the staff and everyone who was apart of my journey when I began my journey to recovery! I am nearly 2 years sober! You guys deserve a raise!! Bravo!
I think most of the negative reviews don't pertain to this location or is not current. The people giving bad reviews can barely consuct a sentence. With proper grammar. Anyway. For the most part. The councilors and doctors really care. Not only with addiction but also mental health. Also nobody is turned away for regardless of insurance or income. Thank God for private funding and government assistance that keep the doors open. They help anyone who needs it. As long as you go through the proper channels directed on the website. You can not just walk in. There's a process.
Willie in residential south is a hateful lazy person. He called me out of my name twice. Called me a B**** while i was walking down the hall. Someone like willie doesnt need to be working atound people trying to save their lives. He was the only reason that 2 people left. He is VERY disrespectful and only complains the minimal time he is there.
