My experience in Harmony building at Mary Crest was nothing short of a nightmare. There is a horrible smell throughout the building, my room was not cleaned before I moved in even though the person who lived in it before me was smoking hard drugs in the room, there is extensive water damage to the ceiling in the lobby that is a source of unseen mold, everything feels dirty. Some residents have been asking for new flooring that doesn’t make their feet black for years, some residents have mold growing on their shower curtain. There is only one staff member per shift for the whole building. Please, do not move here. If I could give negative stars I would. I had such a severe allergic reaction to the environment that I lost all of my belongings I had moved in there with me because I was having reactions to them even after moving out, my health has been permanently affected. Also, you will get differing information based on who you talk to about rules and policies. Moving into Mary Crest’s Harmony building ruined my life. Please do not move here, it is not worth it. Can’t forget to add that the handicap buttons on one of the main doors was broken from when I moved in to when I moved out.

As an outside resource provider to MaryCrest over the last few years, the staff have been very wonderful! Attentive, compassionate and communicative. They have alot of activities and events for their residents. Their wellness nurse, Lisa & ED , Sam, both have an understanding of what is best for their residents. Residents seem happy to live there! I'd recommend MaryCrest to family and those in need of an ALf.
Management, especially Gifty has been so kind. The 2 things that I’d love to see improvement on is overall food quality and possible upgrades to the units for modernization for residents. Though I personally don’t require this type of living, I am very gracious to management for the opportunity to visit the community. Everyone was very friendly and this is a great opportunity for those needing a little extra daily support.
My brother was a resident at Marycrest Assisted Living for nearly 5 years. He was on Medicaid from the beginning. He paid most of his social security and had his own private apartment. The healthcare and prescription management was excellent. The staff were very caring and loving to my brother. I ate several meals there and found the food to be very good. If a friend, family member or myself need assisted living- I would choose Marycrest!!!
Mary Crest is a great Community that I refer to often because they have services many other Assisted Living Communities do not. They allow, smoking and have a younger population as well as work with the elderly. Their Administrator and Marketing people are wonderful and easy to work with. It is obvious they care for their resident and put their needs first.
