Oh my where do I begin. Food was fine. The 3 physical therapist were competent in their jobs. My stay was for a back surgery recovery. I fell ill upon arriving, the staff yelled at me to get up and do physical Therapy. After feeling better they wanted you to get up and move but you are literally given one time a day to walk the hall. Not enough staff. I had only one nurse that was kind and not because it was her job. Breanna was very helpful and nice. 2 showers a week is gross and not great for emotional healing. I was ready to depart the facility, they were scrambling to find all my clothes. And I had one blanket that has been with me for all my hospital stays, dental procedures, I asked them not to take it to laundry that night , I knew I was leaving. So of course next day it is nowhere to be found. I was heartbroken. Called a number of times no one could find it. Pesky wash machines don't just eat socks. They offered to pay for a new one. Problem is i can never find another like it. Finally find something and when I call to discuss arrangements they don't recall that conversation. Finally on the last night I told the nurse i wasn't feeling good something was wrong. She ignored me. My mom came to get me i had to go by ambulance to the hospital. Ended up it was kidney stones. Never would I stay here or put a loved one here. The staff is incompetent and uncaring.

Pat W: I did my rehab here, for 20 days, and found the nursing staff was very helpful responding to my needs. The PT crew did a great job assisting me in my recovery from my back surgery. Ro's kitchen staff did a good job on preparing my meals, my plate's went back empty. Thank you Post Aqute for my care. Pat W.
Marquis Forest Grove is a Top Notch facility. JTV I had a total knee replacement and they had to redo my kneecap. I was there for 10 days and I did more in rehab than I did in 3 months at a local PT facility. The employees are just awesome. They were there when I needed things and we're just friendly and wonderful.
Picked my father up from here recently. Staff are nice enough. But hygiene and ego are in the tank. Staff members in charge of cleaning the toilets and facilities have repeatedly touched dirty facilities then guest's items and utensils with the same dirty glove or rag to "move" it out of the way with out replacing the now contaminated item. Staff members in charge of pill issue continue to try to force negative impacting medication on guests and treat those that are in full control of thier minds, who refuse, like toddlers. The medication Dilaudid is a popular pill here, to name one of a few, which is known for its overly sedating properties causing guests to become drooling imbeciles. 1 of 10 because I can't leave a 0 star review for such a revolting recovery facility.
Here to complain about the food and smell? Just remember that there are people on the street who are starving and needing a place to live. The level of entitlement some resident have can just make you sick. Stop being rude to the staff they get paid very poorly. Get better and leave so you can go back to that “luxury” lifestyle at home.
