Find comfort in knowing your loved ones will be taken care of at Maplewood of Stony Hill! With three floors of spacious apartments, daily activities, and attentive staff members your family member(s) will have a place where they can continue to thrive. This building is tucked away from the main city traffic and noise and has been recently renovated. One of my favorite features is the outdoor courtyard which is beautifully landscaped to enhance Resident’s connection with nature. I have witnessed various activities (which are constantly evolving) that have Residents of Stony Hill interact with each other, encouraging dialogue and socialization. I would recommend Maplewood of Stony Hill to any friends or family!
I couldn’t be more impressed at the care and compassion shown at Maplewood at Stony Hill. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the professionalism of the entire staff. The community is beautifully maintained, and the attention to detail—from the cleanliness to the engaging activities—really stands out. The nurses, aides, and activity coordinators go above and beyond to make every resident feel at home and valued. If you're looking for a place that combines high-quality care with a genuine sense of community, I highly recommend Maplewood at Stony Hill.
Moving a family member into memory care can be one of the most difficult decisions of a lifetime. I was petrified of leaving my mom someplace new in her vulnerable state. Before the move-in process to Maplewood at Stony Hill, Lauren, Amy and Shelby were there to answer all my questions and reassure me when I was worried that they would assist every step of the way. That has been the case. Maplewood at Stony Hill has treated my mom and me with the most gentle and kind touch. While there have been moments that haven't been perfect, I know that my mom is safe, clean, treated with respect and in the best hands. I visit her often and see firsthand that she is treated with great kindness by all including the nurses, doctors, activity directors, aides, kitchen staff and facilities managers. There are constantly activities going on from balloon volleyball, to quilt making and music performances. The facility itself is really beautiful and comfortable. My mom's room is always spotless, her laundry cleaned regularly and the staff ensures that my mom always looks her usual put-together self - even with scarves and jewelry! The food is very good and plentiful and I am always amazed at how smoothly the meal process goes considering this is a challenging population to work with. Communication at Maplewood at Stony Hill is terrific. If I have a concern or suggestion, I know that I can go to a number of different individuals including Lauren and Shelby and will be met with leaders who are willing to work WITH me to make sure that my mom has all she needs. I am so grateful that I found this facility. My mom is content and safe and I couldn't be more pleased.
When keeping our beloved Trish home was no longer viable, we were faced with choosing a long-term memory care facility. This was not an easy decision, but as we arrived for our tour of Maplewood at Stony Hill - we knew we had found the right fit for Trish. An environment that truly feels like home. Her apartment is filled with her personal belongings, creating a familiar and comforting space. She has access to a variety of community spaces, enriching and social activities, she’s made friends and enjoys the outstanding dining/food service. Most importantly - the staff - we have complete peace of mind knowing she is safe, well cared for, and surrounded by experts in their field that support her as well as includes us in her care. Maplewood at Stony Hill has created a warm, home-like professional atmosphere where we feel part of a family - all dedicated to Trish’s well-being 24/7, during a difficult life stage.
