I cannot speak highly enough of Maplewood at Southport. This Community is absolutely gorgeous, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels like home. The nursing staff is always there for you—highly approachable, caring, and attentive to residents' needs. Maplewood is truly known for its extremely high standards, setting the bar for assisted living facilities. I’ve had the privilege of hosting dementia support groups at Maplewood, and I’m always impressed by their generosity and thoughtfulness. They not only provide a beautiful space for these gatherings but also go out of their way to offer exceptional food for attendees. The attention to detail and commitment to fostering a supportive community is remarkable. If you’re looking for a place where your loved one will be cared for with the utmost professionalism and compassion, Maplewood at Southport is an outstanding.
As a member of the Maplewood home office team, I frequently spend time in communities, and Southport is one of my favorites to visit! The community itself is beautiful, from the lobby and great room to the outdoor landscaping and firepits. Every space was designed with thoughtfulness and care, making sure every resident feels at home and comfortable. The team at Southport is also amazing; Their passion, energy, and commitment to their community is evident every time I visit. There is always something going on, whether that be in the lobby, activities room, or elsewhere. One of my favorite activities that took place at Southport was an afternoon tea party with a local Girl Scout troop! If you're looking for a place where your loved one can thrive, it's Maplewood at Southport!
