Excellent staff experience. The people here are truly professional and have been very responsive to my wife’s needs. Clean facilities, excellent lighting with large windows bringing extra light in the rooms. Good food, great entrees, plenty of coffee and milk, salads. An exceptional place.

My mom was here for approximately two years. We lost her January 5, 2024. While mom was there the establishment was in the process of being sold. Maggie was outstanding and treated mom wonderfully. Mom loved her. Mom was a fall risk and fell twice while in their care. The nurse that passed meds was stretched thin and was consistently interrupted while passing meds to patients. The last time mom fell she broke her ankle requiring surgery. She fell because she went to use the bathroom alone using her walker. She did call for help but no one responded. I personally observed people ringing in for help to use the bathroom and didn’t get a response for over a half hour! Sharon a CNA was also lovely as was Karen O and Sandy B who worked in the office. I understand Mansfield center for nursing has been sold and hope that the new management gets enough help to address some of the concerns of residents and family members and it isn't All about the money. This review was given with the utmost respect and honest viewpoint. I’m praying the new management will retain as many of the original help as possible. Karen O, Sandy B and some of moms CNAS, Maggie, Mike and Sharon were so compassionate and a pleasure to work with as was the lady that sits at the front desk at check ins. Mom did lose many clothes which did have her name on them which were never found. Mom consistently special ordered food because she didn’t really like a lot of the food served. She did complain the food was very salty and overcooked. We miss mom terribly and hope Mansfield Center for Nursing retains its excellent rating.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and apparently keep the patients busy as they were hitting balloons around a table when I arrived. it is also very secure as you need to read a code to open the elevator. I plan to return there soon. So far recommend it .
Picked up my mom for Thanksgiving dinner at my brother’s house. She was dressed beautifully; lovely sweater and matching scarf tied in a fashionable way. Maggie was the staff member that went above and beyond. She also blew dried and styled my mother’s hair. She looked like she came out of the salon. Everyone complemented my mom. This made her day! Thanks Mansfield for your great care!!! Mary in 219 thanks you too!
I spent two weeks at Mansfield Rehab after an unplanned surgery, and it was one of the most positive, medical situations i have ever been in. From the first moment that I entered the building, it didn't have the nursing home/rehab center "smell", it was spotless, the staff that i encountered on my way to my room was pleasant and friendly. The room that i was assigned was huge, it was a single room (originally a double room that had been combined into a single room), which I later found out, most of the rooms are single rooms. I have mobility issues and seeing a lift recliner by the windows made me feel like i was at home, there was plenty of closet/storage space, chairs for visitors and extra fans if needed, but the air conditioning kept the room nice and cool. I met with Sarah, who helped me unpack and get me situated, she was a lifesaver in doing vitals and checking on me continually to make sure i didn't need anything. For that matter, all the staff went out of their way on a day to day basis, from the nurses, administration, physical therapy, cleaning staff, dietary, the list is endless. I'm not sure if the facility's goal is to make you feel like you're at home, but they exceed it in every category. I will be having a follow-up surgery in the future and am planning on my rehab back at Mansfield.
