I am very pleased with the care my father has been receiving from Majestic Oaks. My father resisted going at first but now enjoys the activities and social interactions with the other residence and staff. The staff has has been very helpful. Lydia, especially has gone above and beyond to help make this transition smoothly. I appreciate the care that the staff have provided to my father.

The staff is warm and welcoming, creating a friendly atmosphere. The facility is clean and well-maintained. They provide exceptional wound care services. The clinical liaison, Heather was also very helpful as she answered all my questions.
The physical and occupational therapists, Robin and Melissa are awesome. They are top at their game, professional and very patient. I highly recommend these two fantastic therapists!
Very rude staff especially on the 4th floor. No one wants to help. Very poor quality in every aspect. And only thing that looks nice in this place is the first floor. Staff , maintenance and care on the residents main floors is very poor.
If zero stars was an option or a -1 star option were available that would be my choice. I brought my father there in hopes of finding a facility where he could comfortably spend the rest of his days in a caring environment where we as a family could find peace with his process. What we got instead was ineptitude from the top down. So many things wrong with this facility I doubt I'll have enough words allowed in this post to scratch the surface. If you care about your loved one DO NOT leave them here. My father was there 13 days before I pulled him out following one fiasco after another that included neglect, lies and incompetence. A staff member actually encouraged me to get my father out of here as quickly as you can "or what you see will continue." From the moment the elevator doors opened the stench of urine was so overpowering it left me to question how the staff themselves could tolerate it. I would show up to see my father in the same outfit I had changed him into two days prior except now his outfit would be soiled with food stains and crumbs. We were told they would get self care and outfit changes every day. When asked about why he was in the same outfit the staff all looked back and forth at each other with no response. When asked if they were brushing his teeth daily the answer was yes, when I returned with his toothpaste tube in hand with the foil wrap still intact, unopened, again just staff staring at each other and blaming a previous tech etc. On a per visit basis I would see things so alarming I could not wait to spring my father from the depths of this dysfunction. Alarms blaring non stop with no effort to redirect the people roaming the halls setting off those alarms. The noises were so obnoxiously loud and concerning I could see the panic in my fathers eyes and it continued constantly. I stood next to a man covered in his own dandruff flakes from the top of his skull, forehead and face littered all over his black t-shirt, there was honestly enough to shake off and fill a cup. Complete neglect. My father had a catheter allowing urine to flow directly into a bag yet I showed up to find him in urine soaked clothes, when I took him into his room to change his clothes I found an additional pile of urine soaked clothing on his dresser. Not a single nurse identified that with his catheter none of his clothes should have ever gotten wet not to mention the urine soaked clothes were piled onto his dresser, not in a bag, just a pile on the very dresser where we typically set our keys down next to a family picture. We had a care consult moved up to an earlier date based upon our concerns. At that meeting we discussed two things with the leaders of the facility, ordering a UA based upon some symptoms we had concerns about and loosening a constricting anklet they had placed on his leg. When I would return two days later, the bracelet was so tight we couldn't get a scissor under it to cut it from his ankle and the UA had failed to be ordered. Not a single person from that meeting followed up with any of the nurses to see if either was done and remember these are the people at the top. There were at least 6 members of management at that meeting. The test we wanted ordered on a Tuesday they would eventually order on the Friday I showed to remove him from their facility AFTER my prompting as it had not been ordered as of that moment. That test ended up being positive for a UTI by the way and led to unnecessary discomfort for my father and undue stress for my family. Trust me when I tell you this is the tip of the iceberg with this facility. 13 days were 13 too long. He is now thriving at another facility although his condition is terminal, he is comfortable, cared for and unafraid of what comes next unlike his stay there. It is of no surprise this place has a 1 star medicare rating. I wish I knew of the medicare website prior to taking the advice of a social worker who should be embarrassed by his referral.
