This place will have you up and walking… out the door within a few moments of arriving. I’m giving 1 star because it won’t let me give 0 stars. Moldy vents, rat poop in closet, nasty furniture. We left "against doctors order" within the first hour of being here for rehab.

I cannot speak to the experiences of other families at Magnolia Manor Rock Hill, but I CAN speak to OUR family's experience, and it was excellent. Yes, the building is old. Yes, the parking lot and grounds need lots of TLC. But - as the old cliche goes - don't judge a book by its cover. The MM Rock Hill staff did an excellent job caring for our father during the 3+ months he was a resident there, as did the staff of Gentiva Hospice. Magnolia Manor's administrative, nursing, and support staff showed care, concern, and compassion for our dad and to us as a family. Many thanks to Dawn, Cherry, Meredith, Kelsey, Laurie, Anna, Patsy, Julian, and to all those whose names I do not remember, but whose faces I will never forget. Without a doubt, y’all are doing the Lord’s work.
My Dad has been a resident at Magnolia Manor for the last 2 months. The staff is fantastic! They go above and beyond to make may dad, as well as the family feel comfortable. Moving a loved one into a nursing facility is a stressful time but we are blessed for him to be in a place where the staff truly cares about the residents. The entire admin staff, Dawn, Anna, Laurie, Meredith, Patsy, Julian, Summer and others are all very helpful and gladly answer any questions that we have. They constantly communicate and ask our input us about his care plan. The nurses such as Cherry and Kelsey are great and take really good care of him as do numerous CNA's such as Shelby, Yolanda, Latasha, Tricia, Dominique and many others. The building itself is older, but the maintenance staff and the janitorial staff are always working hard to keep the facility clean and in good repair. If you are looking for a skilled nursing facility for a loved one, I would definitely recommend Magnolia Manor.
Has to be in top 3 worst facilities in the world, i would honestly recommend putting a loved one in york county jail vs magnolia manor! You would be more cared for to say the least. There is a couple sweet nurses that are aware and will admit how low the quality of care is. Its next to impossible to get someone to answer the phone (especially on 3rd shift) they will unplug a residents call bell saying (they are too needy) while said resident is laying in piss or thier own $hit with bedsores already present and the staff will be napping!! This was supposed to be a place for physical therapy, they done nothing more than sit my mother up on the side of the bed and damn near let her slide off one time. I wouldnt feel right sending my dog there after this experience. We had to call the desk multiple times to get someome to help my mom after they shut her door and ignored call bell with her laying in poop only to get a rude response and the staff would go to my mom saying we called and cussed them when we only asked why it was so difficult for them to do their job and how would they feel if it was thier mom! After 2 weeks of being there there is absolutely no improvement with my mother, if anything she is a bit worse from the neglect. They sow little to no compassion or understanding for ppl with severe depression. If your loved one needs inpatient rehab or just a place to go i would STRONGLY recommend looking elsewhere. My vet treats my dogs better then these ppl treats there resident's. Only giving one star because zero isnt a option! Do better! Read through all the reviews and you'll see it happens to many people there. Im amazed they haven't been shut down!
Absolutely horrible. I don't understand why a place that's supposed to help you ignores you while your made to lay in poop and urine. Its uncalled for. A couple nurses there will agree its Absolutely ridiculous 🙄 I was supposed to get help but its been a absolute nightmare for me. So glad i got out of that place ! Neglectful is a understatement! Will ignore the residents while 3rd shift sits around and naps. This place needs to be shut down asap
