My mom died 7 years ago now and she died there! She was first admitted because she could no longer stay at her assisted living after being hospitalized. While there I went to visit her one day and noticed a side of her body she couldn’t move. Also she was diabetic and they were giving her soda. I told my husband to call the nurse and asked her why the were giving her soda and told her to check her sugars now. Mind you I have worked in healthcare over 30 years. My focus turned to her not being able to move her left side and told my husband to call 911. She went to the ER and learned she had a stroke! If we wouldn’t have been there who knows how long she would have been without being checked. The hospital pushed for her to be discharged a week later and I begged for them to not send her back there but they did. Well a week later she died! I had a closet full of clothes I bought her. I went back the day after she died and they were gone! I asked several people about them and no one could answer what happened! I post this now because it came up to the anniversary of her death and also as I went through old voicemails I found some around that time. Plus I have videos of this situation when we found her there. I tried to file malpractice for her but in our state it is hard to do. Just be mindful and on top of them if a loved one stays.

This place has stepped up completely understand that when I came here 2 years ago it was a 1.7. I have seen 6 administrators go through this company. We now have an administrator that is building this company up. The help has gotten better, the company is definitely working it's way up the ladder. I see improvements in more ways than one
Oh my gosh, I came in today and enjoyed the karaoke I saw laughter, fun and so much joy filled the room as I watched the residents dance and sing along with the staff, thank you so much for that beautiful sight to see Magnolia Manor! Please keep it up🙏🏾
My grandmother is a resident there and I have noticed that the cleanliness of the building has improved tremendously and the Nurses and staff are caring and respectful of our families privacy.
I have stayed at this facility twice and I would not even let my dog stay here. They feed u kindergarten portions of food that taste horrible. They only have unsweetened tea and water here other than what is in the vending machines. It cost me oveir 4,000 dollars a month just to stay here and eat their horrible food. They came n my room today and made me clean it up. All kind of your belongings walk away from here and they originally said they would replace it and over 2000 worth of my belongings have clearly walked out of my room. I'm talking about clothes jewelry 24 packs of sodas and my food that I bought just walked out of my room. They say they will replace it but I'm still waiting on that so in other words I am just without it. They allow us 2 smoke/vape 5 hours a day but between me and my boyfriend had 11 vapes stolen. What makes it even worse is how the others are completely ignored my boyfriend only has 1 leg and he layer in the floor for over an hour and he broke his hip. The nurse practitioner will not even give u your medicine even if it is prescribed by someone else. They try to control you as if we r really bad kids. I would not evenlet my dog stay here. If you love or care about someone I would definitely check out other facilities. This place is ran really poorly. Our portion size is as if we r not kindergarten.. they will take your whole check and give u 30 dollars a month. I was n a different home n north Carolina that looked as if it was heaven.
