After visiting many senior communities, we decided to move my 84 year old mother to Magnolia by the Lakes. And we couldn’t be more pleased with our decision! The facility is very nice. My mom’s apartment is great and has a spectacular view over Cass Lake. But all of that pales next to the caliber of the PEOPLE! Without exception, every single person on staff (owner, marketing staff, CNAs, kitchen staff, custodial workers) seem to have made it their personal objective to make mom feel happy, comfortable, and safe. Working with Magnolia by the Lakes has been a wonderful experience. Our consultant was so attentive to me and my loved one’s needs throughout the entire process, excellent customer service! He really gave us peace of mind that this was going to be the right long-term fit. Beautiful facilities, grounds, and a fantastic team!
My mother-in-law moved in a couple weeks ago. Even before she arrived, the staff were interested her future needs, ensuring her first days’ experiences were amazing. The staff are extremely attentive, the food is great and she loves the apartment!

Magnolia first crossed my radar as I was looking at places for my mother. As it turned out, it has been my home for the last several years. My view of Cass Lake is therapeutic and the staff is wonderfully supportive. The newest addition is Ezekiel Burns, a charming and talented young man who is making Magnolia and its residents a centerpiece of his life. His drop-by conversations are as welcomed as visits from a favorite family member. We are blessed to be here and grateful to be surrounded by staff like Zeke.
