Went to Lynbrook on Mothers Day, they presented live music and cupcakes for the Special occasion! On Previous visits I can say there are always activities, in the morning and afternoon for the patrons staying there . There are two dining rooms , one on the first floor and one on the second floor, never over crowded. A nice touch is that tables get tablecloths for lunch and dinner! The fact that this facility is small, I see the care is quality rather than You read it all quantity! It’s very clean, and never bad odors. The nurses, aids and staff are kind and friendly. I’m so glad I chose this place for my Mom. My mom Turned 100 , while there, and they gave her beautiful party to celebrate her big day! How’s that for caring? I certainly made the best choice when it came to decide for rehab! They got her walking again after a bad fall! Hands down, this is where you want your Loved Ones!

I am very impressed with the attentiveness and perks of this facility. We were very nervous about the transition from Acute to subacute care. Everyone here has been very accommodating. The facility is pretty modern and the bakery is delicious.
My mom went to Lynbrook after a two week stay at the hospital in Brooklyn where she had to be intubated due to a horrible asthma attack combined with a flu. From the time I went in to tour the facility, before I decided to place her there, Nesly welcomed me with a smile, warmth and caring attitude which created an atmosphere of hope, understanding, and compasion that made all the difference. Tatyana and the whole PT and OT staff were all exceptional, knowledgeable, empathetic, and always available to answer any questions. They were quickly able to restore my mother's strength after the hospital stay. Adam, from the pulmonary program was conducting great breathing exercise classes twice a week which helped my mother get off oxygen and start breathing on her own with no problem. Derek, always with a smile on his face, the event coordinator, was in charge of organizing events and always reached out to invite friends and family to participate. All the nurses and staff tailored the recovery plan to my mother's specific needs which put me at ease and I felt like my mother and I were heard and supported every step of the way. I appreciate Lynbrook's commitment to aftercare and I highly recommend this facility for anyone seeking an aftercare program that will be tailored to one's individual needs. I am grateful for their impact and appreciate everything they have done. It truly takes a special kind of person to care for others, and that is not an easy task. Thank you Lynbrook for everything, from the bottom of my heart.
My brother was in this facility for 2 months for rehab. Overall staff were great, very caring , dedicated and they really helped him to walk again. The only complaint I have relates to communication with families. I was never able to reach a nurse on his floor to find out how he was doing. Messages left with PT were never answered and social work staff though responsive never really seemed to know what was going with him as I would get conflicting information. Overall though good place for recovery and rehab.
At first I was really hesitant to send my dad here, but I gave lynbrook restoritive a shot. My dad was bed ridden and his O2 was extremly low. But after being admitted to Lynbrook Restoritive he slowly went back to walking and doing things on his own. His oxygen went from needs to be on oxygen always to as needed. The whole staff is amazing. Each nurse, nurse aid, rehab, admittions knew my dad and were veey kind to him. My dad came out of rehab with a whole new family. If you want to send your loved one to a rehab this should be your first choice.
