They didn't even make him comfortable as he died. Not enough staff, and those there work double shifts and too tired to care. Don't leave your family here alone; they would be better off in your basement neglected for 16 hours a day. Family is too heartbroken to pursue a grievance but would like to warn others.
My mother-in-law was in transitional care twice in the last 7 months and her care was exceptional. We were able to bring her chair from home in to the room for her comfort. The staff was so kind and helpful and very friendly. We were treated as though we were family. The food was good and dieticians were very patient and accommodating with her picky diet. We will definitely look to Lutheran Homes for assisted living when that day comes.
Terrible management, even worse CNA’s/dietician’s, Management treats workers terrible, yell’s at kitchen aids as if they are their parents, and cus’s out employees when they decide to quit. Enough is enough, do not bring your grandparents/family here. This is a toxic environment and residents are not as well cared as you would think. Also psa leaving out 6 dirty trays all night is highly unsanitary, please retrain staff.
Outstanding service and very competent staff. Cafe service is exceptional.
