This place is beyond disgusting. My family member was discharged into skilled care at this facility while I was out of town on work. They had a “med error” and withheld his pain medication for 48 hours, with zero effort to make him comfortable while his 80 year old body withdrew from opioids. I made it in to visit him 5 days after his admission . During that time , despite several incidents where he soiled his pants he had not been showered or changed in that 5 day span. He had 2 emergency surgeries prior to admission and one can only assume he did not receive proper wound care as well. 9 days after admission to this facility he was taken by ambulance to the hospital in septic shock. Wonder how he contracted that? I wouldn’t send inmates to this facility let alone a loved one . Understaffed, miss managed and overall poor attitudes make this place miserable for the residents.
I do not recommend this facility. Family member went here for after care. They did not communicate changes, concerns or decline of health until hospitalized again. If you care about your loved one I would recommend finding a different facility.
2 family members went into the home with good outlooks and expected recoveries. Both came out with sepsis, and died in the hospital. I can tell many of the nurses here try their best, and care deeply. But there is a systematic failure here and it comes from the top. I have lost two loved ones to this place. Please do not send yours here.
One of the worst I have been in. They don't give you your medication when prescribed if you are to have yours 4 times a day you only get 2 times a day hum wonder who gets the rest? I heard an elderly woman cry and moan every night I had to push my button to get her help. I wouldn't send my dog there!
