What I value the most is the excellent service at the front desk! The caregivers have been all amazing. I like that the caretakers are listening to all my needs including my health issues, The work that the kitchen does to insure that my meals are warm and most important delicious.

My grandfather completed a two week rehab stay at Mays Chapel while recovering from a hospital stay. The staff were so kind and treated him like family. My grandmother visited every day and had nothing but compliments regarding every department she encountered at the facility. My grandfather also expressed how caring everyone was towards him. Definitely our top choice for any future needs!
I gave Lorien a 5 star for the experience I had there for 5 weeks.l was on the 3 rd floor rehab and the nursing care could not have been better. I met so many caring nurses and aides who gave me help to manage day to day activities while being cheerful and supportive. As far as my Pt/ Ot experience I cannot say enough. I had never been to rehab before and the folks I worked with gave me knowledge and the skills to help me be released before the Easter Holiday. They truly are the best of the best!! That’s the reason I am going back for outpatient hopefully next week I highly recommend this quality Rehabilitation Thank you. Elizabeth Ridgeway
2022. Terrible experience for my dear sweet mother. After a few weeks I took her home with me to get her out. That’s all I’ll say. No need for a response from Lorien. I forgive you.
This is an exceptional choice if you or a loved one needs inpatient rehab care. I was released from Lorien yesterday. Everyone there, from administrators, physical therapists, nurses to aids were exceptionally caring, warm, compassionate individuals. My roommate was a major curmudgeon. The food, he would complain, was cold. "Jewish people don't eat cold food," he would bark. The staff would put his foot in a microwave to warm it. When that wasn't good enough, they would make an off menu grilled cheese sandwich for him. All of this without every loosing their wonderful sense of humor and good cheer. The staff bend over backwards to please. When you're able, there are many pleasant common areas of the facility to hang out and a nice gym. Yes, the food ranges from fair to inedible, but you don't go to a rehab facility for a gourmet experience.
