my visit with my family.member at Lord Chamberlain was a wonderful experience. Every employee I met seemed very happy and so nice to my family member. I heard words of encouragement many times during my visit. My family member is ambulatory and they readily showed me many areas of the facility. Everywhere we went during our tour we met with smiles and genuine care. The facility is beautifully decorated and clean as a whistle. It is very apparent that your facility is operated with care and respect it is very much appreciated by people who visit. Thank you to all employees and residents of Lord Chamberlain for caring it shows. Thank you again I would recommend Lord Chamberlain to anyone who asked straight A+ facility.

Terrible experience. My husband was discharged into Lord Chamberlain from Griffin Hospital after an emergency hip replacement. We sat in the assigned room for over an hour before any staff or nurse came to the room to speak to us. When they finally came, it was only because I asked where the nursing staff and admissions staff was to complete an assessment, as well as set up treatment goals for my husbands stay. Long story short, the staff was very unwelcoming and no one read his discharge from the hospital nor was aware of medication he was on. My husband reported he had a horrible night at the facility and asked that I come and discharge him immediately the next morning. He wasn't at the facility 24 hrs. As a retired social worker and my husband in law enforcement, this place needs serious staff and management training. I would not recommend anyone unfortunately.
I was asked to pay $7000.00 upfront for a 14 day stay which we did. I only stayed 4 days and was told I would receive a refund within 6 to 8 weeks. It is now going on week 12 and still no refund. When I call about this I get no results has to why I have not gotten my money back. This place likes to hang on to your money and not give you a refund in a timely manor. My suggestion is don't give them that much money up front or you may never see your refund ! Well here we are 16 weeks later with no results. I had to go thru my credit card to dispute the charges. They tried contacting them also with no success. Do not use this place!!!
This Rehab facility is beautiful, they have professional people that know why they are doing and are friendly. We felt welcomed from the time we arrived until we left. My family member that is there is happy and likes his care takers because they care and treat him with respect.
Do not send loved ones here! This facility should be mindful of how under-staffed they are and should not be taking in patients just to fill their beds to make money. My aunt ended up here after a hospital stay and it was a circus! You had to tell nurses not once, not twice, but 3 times about dietary needs. We had to remind them about meds that were giving her GI issues that kept being given to her because “it never got updated” in her chart. My aunt was left in the bathroom and was unable to use the pull cord for help Because it didn’t work! She told us one morning when she was supposed to be getting tests done her aide was asleep in her recliner chair in her room. You would call in and question nurses and they would tell you they had to get back to you so they can research the question! This would be mid day when they have already had her for 1/2 a shift…do they actually pay attention to the charts or is this just a paycheck. This included a call to the head nurse of the facility w not ho told me get back to Him the following morning if I never got an answer. Our social worker was out “sick” one day and quit the next day we were told. Run while you can I guess. They have too many residents for the amount of staff. Our oxygen was ordered and shipped to the house for discharge and a charge nurse called to let us know it was an error and part should be at the facility - well the facility puts in the orders and should be mindful of delivery. AFTER discharge I got a call from a nurse asking where my aunt was - ha was this a hoax?! You tell me you discharged her??? She told me my dad took her home on his own, which was incorrect she was transported with a service ORGANIZED by them! Even our discharge paperwork had the wrong facilities on it for home services. We had no clue what we were in for when she arrived home down to how to manage her catheter she was sent home with. No one was around clearly upon discharge if they had no clue where she was. I can go on but I’m sure my point is made….shame on this place!
