Today, I had the pleasure of touring the beautiful Longview community. Victoria Durante, the Admissions Director, was incredibly welcoming and shared valuable insights about the facility. I saw genuine, loving interactions between the staff and residents, with many fun and engaging activities. The grounds were immaculate, and the rooms were clean, spacious, well-maintained, and offer residents ability to personalize their space. What truly stood out to me, though, was the staff’s longevity. Victoria has been with the community for 20 years, and it’s evident that her team is not only well-trained but also genuinely passionate about their work. The low staff turnover speaks volumes. In my opinion, this is incredibly important for families considering a place for their loved ones. If the staff loves the community, your loved one will feel that warmth and care too. While I’m not currently looking for a place for myself, I know that at some point, I may need such a place for personal reasons or for a loved one. After today’s tour, I’m confident in recommending this facility to my senior clients who are looking to transition into a new lifestyle. I will do so with complete confidence, knowing they will be in good hands after I assist in selling their home. Had a lovely visit with my aunt today. The staff is amazing and the facility is beautiful.
I visited Christian Health Center at Longview today in Wyckoff NJ, it was my first time ever visiting this healthcare facility. I went to visit two very dear friends of mine that mean the world to me. Christian Health is amazing, absolutely immaculate, warm and homey. What a beautiful healthcare facility inside, and out. The front desk receptionist Cassie was very professional, and most helpful. All the staff presented with a smile with my questions, and were very professional. The residents were eating delicious healthy meals, sitting in a beautiful, well lit dining area. The residents even got pineapple upside down cake for dessert. Just so happened the NJ state DOH was there today for their annual review. I sat with NJ DOH nurse on the side of the dining room, and told her what a beautiful, long-term care facility Christian healthcare is. She smiled and agreed. I am a family nurse practitioner and worked many years at Morris View Healthcare Center in Morris County which was also immaculately clean with great healthcare services and had such happy residents when I worked there. I give Christian Health assisted living and memory care a five star rating Lori Agis, NP-C
