I recently went there to visit someone who had moved to Lockwood about a month ago. She is very happy there. Her only complaint was, jokingly, she needed a vacation from all the activities that were available. I stayed for lunch and the food was excellent as was also the staff. Her apartment was nice and quite roomy. I was very impressed with everything.

It’s very disappointing to hear that a mentally challenged adult woman is being confined to her room for well over a week because of bumping into a lady with her walker. How unfortunate that nothing was done to mitigate the circumstances and reestablish parameters at a more positive level.
Lovely place kind employees but this wait list of two or three years is something I can't imagine at a senior housing community I wonder how many people are possibly in heaven before they get called .
The staff is kind and courteous and have been very helpful with any question or concern I have had. The housekeeping staff my Mom has is excellent and so sweet and caring to all her needs. In all there are no perfect situations for as many residents that live in one location, and trying to please everyone is nearly impossible but, I feel this is a very nice place and my Mom is happy there and that’s what matters .
