I can't say enough how wonderful this nursing facility is. The campus is beautiful and the indoor atrium is just wow! I could sit here all day with the sun shining in and surrounding by the beautiful trees and plants and the indoor pond. The resident rooms are very spacious with large windows and great views. The staff are just amazing. They are so kind and caring and they treat each of the residents like family. The facility is very clean and well cared for.

My MIL has been here for a couple weeks no problems, but 3 days ago her roommate was complaining about her bed being to hard, (her roommate has been there over a year, never had an issue) so they made my MIL get out of her bed to swap her bed with her roommate because my MIL’s bed has to be a certain comfort and her bed has a mattress topper, now my MIL has neurostomy tubes on both sides, which leak, well when they took her bed they just switched the beds, didn’t clean them off, didn’t bring new sheets, nothing and they have not brought her a new bed that she’s suppose to have. And said they would bring her 3 days ago. Now, I’m no scientist but i know it’s illegal to swap beds and not clean them. Especially in this circumstance. We’ve called, came in, all of it and still get ignored! And the sad part is they tried saying my MIL was “confused” and said she gave them permission to take her bed!
The staff was nothing short of amazing with my dad. During his final days, a lot of the staff that had taken care of him during his stay stopped by to offer their sympathy and to see him one more time. One staff member even came in on her day off to set check on him and was there with my sister when he took his final breath. He was on the second floor left side as getting off the elevator. I wish I could remember all the nurses name to thank them individually.
Activities are so great that we had to move them to a bigger area! The atrium is beautiful and staff work as team!
Some staff excellent and they are with an agency. Most upper management very cold. When my husband was transferred to the hospital they put his things between the doors for me to pick up. Very cold and uncaring. My husband is now in PCU and is not out of the woods yet and would have died if I hadn't insisted on being taken to the ER. No one seemed to care about him but cared about charging me to hold the room for him. I wouldn't take my pet to.that place. Please be an advocate for youth family members anywhere you go.
