As tragic as it is to have to allow a loved one to go into a facility due to a fall it is only made worse by several factors. My mother’s room was filthy and hardly cleaned. She also contracted Covid while there and also fell while there even though she was a fall risk and should have been watched. She became sicker there than when she first entered the facility. The case worker C. Fitzpatrick was horribly judgy about our family wanting to transfer our mother to another facility and delayed paperwork to allow this to happen and blatantly lied about the situation. They do not have showers or bathing capability there and on numerous occasions there was total miscommunication. Physical therapy and occupational therapy were wonderful people but did not accurately disclose our mother’s physical abilities. Information was also given to people that are not on my mother’s HIPAA. My mother even reported one night nurse due to her demeanor and being made to feel bad for having to ask for help and was informed by a supervisor that their nurses aren’t trained to help a person out of bed. Please for the sake of your loved ones find another facility
Great staff trying to care for our elderly under poor working conditions. Always short staffed, terrible food and lots of folks sitting in soiled diapers. If you have a relative here, under Dr. Equinozzi's care, don't plan on talking to him. He reserves his time for private practice clients and won't talk to you unless you catch him for the 15 minutes he's there monthly.
They pushed my mom out before she was capable of caring for herself. They did not have the equipment she would need in place for her return home. Within 2 weeks she fell and returned to the hospital. I would not recommend
