680 N State St, Lindon, UT 84042, United States
Drove by on State street and it’s 99 degrees outside. Saw an elderly woman outside in a wheelchair, she looked tired and not well. We drove back to try to help her and she was gone. We drove around the building and discovered it was Lindon Care, looks depressing outside and inside. I believe this facility needs to be investigated. Something does not seem right!

Unless you have a family member who needs this level of care, you will never fully understand how valuable the services rendered by Lindon Care are. I admire what the care givers do with meager state funding. Any complaints should be lodged with the Utah State Department of Health. We need more voices and advocates on our behalf. LCTC has been a lifesaver for my family. You can't judge a book you haven't read.
I was driving on State Street and saw some commotion outside of this place. I stopped to help and learned that a couple of the residents had gotten out. One was barefoot, walking in the street and was almost hit by a car. It was 90+ degrees outside, so his feet were burning on the hot asphalt. The other resident was close to the road walking as well. After a couple of minutes, one of the care takers came to bring them back inside. Nonchalantly, she mentioned that they sometimes get out and walk in the street, as if this is a somewhat regular occurrence and of no big concern or consequence... This place should be called a "don't care facility", as they obviously are lacking in the care aspect of healthcare and overall safety of their residence.
They have always been kind to my family and I. Very supportive. It is a bigger facility, however they seem to be able to care for each of their residents with love and dignity. Highly recommended for people with intellectual disabilities.
They do not treat their residents correctly. Signs of abuse. Someone needs to step in BAD!!
