The love and care this facility has shown my grandmother is exceptional. From the admission director Angela and her smoothe process, to the business office manager Andrea and her knowledge of the Medicaid process, the activity director Alisa gets those residents moving and grooving with a smile on her face, Bwing Nurse Kim knows her stuff and is very straight forward, Gino the physical therapist is the best to do it and is very patient. They made me feel like I made a great choice with this facility. Thank you thank you thank you Lincolnshire for your service.

HORRIBLE PLACE please take your loved ones home or some where else. My grandmother went there after knee replacement surgery, she has been there for 9 days today, they've showered her once since being there (8 days) . My parents had to change the bedsheets by themselves today when visiting her. She has a huge cut on her leg, near her ankle, she never felt it, they never cleaned up her cut or the blood on the floor. They haven't replaced her bandages from the surgery. They're rarely giving her more water, her urine is now rusty colored from dehydration. My grandmother had urinated herself and when it was brought to their attention, it was blown off and no one came back to help. My mother changed her diaper, and for her cleaned up, when they went to get the nurse he was laughing and joking with other coworkers. They should pay family members for caring for their loved ones since they do more for them than the staff. My grandmother is doing her OWN rehab in her OWN room with NO help, because they never come to take her. Her room had water damage stains on the ceiling, paint peeling, and dirt build up in the corners of the room. They've been horrible to family members when questions were asked, one of the staff members hung up on my uncle when he wanted to know about her physical therapy. They're leaving loved ones with soiled diapers CONSTANTLY. The food is terrible and lacking proper nutrition.
My mother is staying there and they are ignorant and very disrespectful. The nurses were pocketing my mother’s medication and they are very rough with her. One nurse even slapped my mother’s broken leg. My mother is having a horrible experience there and so are the other people. I talked to 2 different women who are staying there and they both had horrible things to say about that place. Not a place I recommend for anyone.
It's not an easy decision and there is no "perfect" fit when you are dealing with moving a loved one to a healthcare facility. I transferred my mother here in 2022 after a short stay at a more "well known" care center where there care plan was to just put her on comfort care to live out her days. After coming to Lincolnshire and a little bit of an adjustment period, she has thrived under their care. Lincolnshire has provided excellent care and communication. They pushed her to become involved in activities and events along with rehab. Since then, the change in her demeanor and lifestyle has been amazing. I was drawn to Lincolnshire by the size of the facility, it's not too big and the staff know all the residents' names. The wound care nurse is fantastic and they communicate the slightest of bumps and bruises immediately. I have found the staff to be pleasant and most importantly, they care about their residents. Again, there is no perfect situation when deciding to move a loved one to extended care, but seeing the quality care that Lincolnshire has provided has made this difficult decision a little easier.
Lincolnshire is a a great place to work. The staff is nice and friendly. The staff is there for the residents; even if they just need someone to talk to. Staff is very knowledgeable and form a bond with all the people they take care of. If you are in need of a great place to car for your love one this is the place for them.
