Lighthouse has been a warm and a very amazing place for my both grandparents. We want to say thank to the amazing people who works there, those people are HR Kim, Administrator, the nurse supervisor Julie, the nurses Cora, Barbara, Rita, Daniela, all the kitchen staff and cleaning staff. They give them an amazing care. Super special professional people. A great place with really good care. My both grandparents were so happy and blessed from their job and care. Thank you all for being a beautiful part of their life. Thank you! Jaupi Family

I'm sorry to say but, I can't agree with everyone on these reviews for what I've seen these nurses and nurses aide don't take care of some patients the same way. I get some have more difficulties then others but, you should teach all your staff members to have the same compassion, care, sympathy, respect and love for all the patients. Maybe in front of the family members they show a different side of them but, its wrong. Just imagine if this was one of your love ones, grandparents, or a dear friend, would you want them to treat them with much respect and compassion??
My Mom is in the memory care unit at Lighthouse. I just want to say how thankful I am to the nurses and aides on the 3rd floor who work in the memory care unit. My Dad recently passed away after a brief but very sad illness. He was at Lighthouse too on the 2nd floor because his cancer spread rapidly to his brain and it was a terrible time for our family. The 2nd floor nurses Raymond, Fay, and Meghan were so wonderful with my Dad. Raymond helped me many times get my Dad in a wheelchair so he could visit with my Mom. My Dad was difficult to lift up and Raymond was an angel helping me before my Dad was bedbound. I will never forget his smiles and kindness to me and my Dad. My parents were married over 62 years, and I fulfilled my Dad's wish of wanting to be near my Mom. Then the 3rd floor aides and nurses have been wonderful to my Mom who has been very confused since my Dad died. She has Lewy Bodies Dementia which can be very difficult. The behaviors, wandering and confusion. But my Mom has always responded to positive reinforcement or redirecting in a positive way. Since my Dad passed, the staff on the 3rd floor has been so kind to my Mom making her feel special. She doesn't understand my Dad isn't coming back but that's okay. Julia is wonderful to my Mom. She is always smiling and dancing with my Mom and making my Mom laugh. Julia is very loving to my Mom and in return my Mom loves Julia. Thank you Julia for your positivity. My Mom needs it so much. Diane the head nurse on 3 is also an angel. She helped locate one of my Moms favorite stuffed animals when it was missing and even called me to tell me she found it. Diane always calls me if my Mom is sick or having a rough day. She helped me make a decision about whether to include my Mom in my Dads funeral service or not. Thank God we decided to do a celebration of life day with my Mom at LH and keep it simple. The whole team on 3 has been kind, compassionate, and I'm so grateful to all of them. Nursing homes are not perfect. Of course I want my Mom home with me. I miss her dearly. But I can see past that and see how hard they try and make LH their home and they have a good daily routine there that helps my Mom and patients feel safe. Thank you for your hard work. Its a very difficult job but its extremely important work that you are doing. Thank you to everyone on 3! You are all angels and Im so grateful to all of you.
Who's better than the Lighthouse ? Nobody! Im grateful and so happy that I was here for rehab. Everyone here was so nice to me from the admissions director to rehab and activities. Great group of people, will be back here if I ever need rehab and highly reccomend!
Nursing staff and aids are great! The facilities/cleaning crew needs improving. Trash in room not emptied for 2 days tissues, same food (spaghetti) on the floor 3 days later. Cockroach ran under the bed when I moved the garbage can. Bathroom in room , toilet not flushed poop and toilet tissue on the floor. 🥲
