This facility is by far most the worse place you can work or place a loved one here. There is no organization or compassion in this facility. The place is ran mainly by agency on evening and night shift. Very disorganized, house staff doesn’t care to help with anything. They’re quick to report you on your mistakes but don’t acknowledge their own negligence towards residents. On the DEF unit there’s lots of skin break down, some wounds are even getting worse. Two residents had on dressings with dates from 2 days ago!!!! False documentation was witnessed that they were completed. ( their own staff! ) Residents that are bed ridden don’t get turned and repositioned as they should be, you can see reddened areas for new breakdown waiting to happen in their sacrum. One nurse is so lazy, that she passes on tasks from her shift to oncoming staff. For example a resident with skin tears, doesn’t report it “ oh I didn’t see that” one had a fever and avoided to assess them when the aide told her and one male resident with a blocked Foley catheter that had retained over 300 ml of urine! Pure Disappointment and ran down stinky facility.

Horrible place with liars and backstabbing. They have management working with their kids who are nurses thinking they run the place. The DON and her RN daughter are both nasty hogs (I apologize to offending pigs-the animals) and will lie to cover up their dirty deeds. They like to threaten people and gossip all day long. Never work at this dump with these degenerate staff members. This place needs to be shut down.
My grandmother is a resident here and her health is failing quickly. The staff here taking care of her is AMAZING. They are kind, loving, and patient with her despite the fact that she yells, curses at them and tries to hit and bite them. The food is actually good, not some slop like you would expect. And the facilities are in good shape. They do need more parking, but if that's my only complaint I feel good about it.
Mom is there and if a problem arises they take care of it as soon as possible. Her room and the center are clean. They have activities two times a day to keep the residents busy and their minds sharp. They also take the residents on a bus ride every other Wednesday for those who are capable to go. My only complaint is they could use more servers at meal times, but this is minor. The staff is caring and most of the time shows compassion.
Kind, considerate, compassionate well trained staff. Everyone is very professional and responsive to the needs of the residents and their family and friends. What a beautiful, clean facility. Your loved ones couldn't be in better hands!
