My mom is so happy at Life Care Center! It was the best decision our family made letting her stay. She enjoys many friends, the wonderful staff, and the opportunity for family to gather as often as we want. I am truly grateful for the loving care she receives!! ❤️

Beautiful facilty! Staff was very nice and the shower people were very knowledgeable and patient even put lotion on my Dads feet and legs and compassionate truly, he was sick today. Only negative thing is smell was overwhelming of BM in front entrance and halls even guest bathroom,could of just been bad accidents day. Was my 1st visit. Need good odor spray 😩
Mom is 94. She fell and broke her pelvis in two places and re-broke her arm. After four days in the hospital, we hoped we could care for her at home but it was just too much. Finding life care center has been a godsend. Only one day in, but she is thrilled. staff is amazing. The food looks delicious and she is so happy. Two hours of PT today had her standing already and taking one step. She is so excited and hopeful about her recovery journey.
Recently my mom was a rehab patient for just over 3 weeks at this facility following a 2 week hospital stay. She was definitely weak and in need of rehab for strengthening as well as IV Antibiotics multiple times daily for an infection.. She received such great care while at LCCA Puyallup. All the staff was great - very caring and attentive to her needs. Therapy worked hard with her to get her back up to walking at her baseline. All of our family was very pleased with the care by the floor nurses and CNAs. My mom was also very pleased with the care she received , which means so much. It is never easy to place your loved one even temporarily into a facility but everyone made her feel welcome from Day 1. If you have someone in need of rehab or long term placement I do recommend Life Care of Puyallup as a place with caring staff to take care of your loved one.
My mom has been here for a year now and is thriving with her health now that she has consistent care! The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable her by name. They are encouraging and when they have time they will take a moment to truly engage with her and her roommate like family. Today we came to take her out for the afternoon and she was ready with a big smile. The facility itself is very clean and not stuffy even though it's a bit rundown and older style furniture. My mom doesn't like to be around groups of people but they offer a wide variety of activities and the activity director tries very hard to accommodate the residents and their ideas into fun projects, games etc. I wish legally the resident didn't have the final say to join in as my mom is very shy and deals with depression. When asked to go to an activity it's almost always no thank you. But if myself or someone else in the family "pushes her to go" and we join in, she loves it! Her favorite activities are ice cream and bingo. She enjoys going to the library and checking out books for her enjoyment in her room. September is one of her favorite nurses and is like a sister to my mom. On occasion I have showed up to mom needing toiletry items that the center provides and the waits for her to receive them or have bedding changed has been an issue. I attribute that to lack of enough staff so hopefully that will be addressed better. Overall we enjoy the friendly staff and the extra rooms like the day room and gazebo for visits!
