This is my mom’s second stay at Life Care Center of Ooltewah from the hospital, She needed to strengthen her mobility after being in hospital for a week. She received different therapies such as Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. Both is helping her body to recover quickly. The therapist’s trained her body how to move about safely and independently so that she can return home somewhat functional. Therapy she said was somewhat difficult for her because of her age (96). However, I think everyone is very pleasant and very accommodating to work with. My mom’s room was perfect for her needs. They have lots of activities going on throughout the day for the residents who are able to participate . They even have yummy ice cream daily (the good stuff) my grandson loves to visit at that time of the day. I am really glad my mom is recuperating in this particular facility. Okay, Where do I start ?? My mother was sent here to receive therapy after having hip replacement surgery. This place has been amazing and a true Godsend. EVERYONE at this center have been genuinely nice and so helpful to my mother during her stay. She had consistent therapy with these sweet ladies OT(Courtney)and PT (Anna). I also really appreciate the daily activities were offered to the residents especially surrounding the holidays. I spoke to my mother multiple times a day and she truly felt safe and cared for which was so important to me because I live out of town. Thank you so much to all the staff for all you do :)
I can't say enough positive about Life Care Center of Ooltewah! They provided exceptional care for my mother during both her rehabilitation stay and, later, her end-of-life care through hospice. Every staff member - nurses, rehab specialists, CNA's, food service, housekeeping, administration - treated her with dignity and respect at every stage. They were attentive, compassionate, and always ensured her needs were met. The level of professionalism and kindness shown made a difficult time easier for our family. I highly recommend for anyone in need of rehab or long-term healthcare.
Our family recently had the privilege of experiencing the services of Lifecare of Ooltewah and I can’t say enough about the exceptional care provided both to the patient and to their family. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The staff at this facility truly goes above and beyond, not only offering outstanding treatment to the patient but also providing support and kindness to the family. The care team was knowledgeable, attentive, and compassionate, making sure every need was met with understanding and respect. It’s clear that they take great pride in creating a positive environment for recovery. The food was another highlight—fresh, nutritious, and thoughtfully prepared to ensure the patient’s well-being while offering a variety of delicious options. It’s rare to find such a combination of great care and great food at a rehab center. The kind support of the care taker is also worthy of note. My father in law was well seen to but so was my mother in law/caregiver. They were checking on her well being each day too. This was a huge comfort to us! Overall, the experience was incredibly positive, and I highly recommend Life Care of Ooltewah to anyone looking for a supportive, caring, and healing environment. My dad had a brief stay in this nursing home. Because of my past experiences at other nursing homes, I was apprehensive about him going to a nursing home. However, Life Care of Ooltewah felt like a resort full of people who wanted his stay to be exceptional. From his daily runs to get ice cream, to the smiling faces of every employee, I will forever be grateful to this facility. Thank you for giving my fantastic dad a terrific experience at the most difficult time of his life. I wish I could give your staff more than just a great review.
