This is the second time a dear friend of 47 years is back for rehab. I was impressed 8 years ago, and more so now. We signed in on a computer pad, and walked to her room. The facility is bright, clean, and everyone we saw was friendly and helpful. When we visited our friend, her room was bright and clean, too. We were impressed by the efficient, kind women who visited with papers to sign (Kim), an 8 page treatment plan (Phyllis), and the welcoming committee of one (Beverly). Our friend was happy with these 3 women for their patience and understanding. We stayed until a little bit after the ice cream social. Our friend is not yet ambulatory, so I got her strawberry ice cream from the social area. Bobbi was generous with the scoop while Laura checked off our friend’s name. Both were very nice. We’ll be back to see our friend, and we’ll be happy to visit. This is a very nice place!

While visiting our Dad over the past 8 months, we always arrived to find Faith at the front door reception desk with a smile, a kind word and a treat for our puppy. The Housekeeping staff does a wonderful job always with a smile and a big hello for us. Our Dad passed away recently and we were greeted at the front door reception desk by new employee Andrea with kindness, her sympathy for our loss and of course a treat for our puppy. Andrea assisted us with returning the valet cart after unloading our Dad's belongings. Please send our thanks to these members of your staff. They are shining examples of caring and kindness during our difficult visits.
Excellent Staff, clean, nice size rooms, some very caring nurses and assistants. Special thanks to Angelica, for not only seeing my brother's immediate needs but also for getting them addressed quickly and properly, in order to keep him as comfortable as possible! Shout out to Jessica for helping us to navigate UHC issues, she has been wonderful and so helpful to us! May be slightly understaffed, but they still always manage to give care to your loved ones. Thank you so much!
I usually have very nice visits with my mom. The staff treats her wonderfully and they are very kind and support to me and my family as well. Any questions I may have if they are unable to answer at the moment they find the answer for me within a few days. My mom's nurse Traci is amazing and her usual aides Jessie and Vera are also amazing with my mom and with the family. I also appreciate her roommate for being able to understand my mom enough to speak on her behalf when needed. I thank you all so very much. It has made my mother's condition better to understand since she does have alzhiemers/dementia. It is a slow progressive illness which my mom or any other parent doesn't deserve. I am beyond pleased with her car except for the texture of her good which half the time she doesn't want to eat it.
Over the years as a Pastor in Hudson before I retired, I found Life Care Center to be a fine facility staffed by very capable people. Since I have come out of retirement to serve Faith Lutheran in New Port Richey, Life Care Center has maintained the high standards. Those I serve are getting great care.
