Very easy transition from the hospital to care center! Brett in business office has been so helpful navigating us through the insurance requirements. Mom is enjoying her stay so far-we had mock margaritas together today when I visited her for Margarita Day courtesy of the Activities department . Mom says it’s the little things like this that make it more enjoyable. Nursing staff is very quick to let me know how mom is doing. Keep up the good work!

My dad is there for rehab, short term. I have not been pleased at all with his room in section 800's. Very dingy, old, smells, nothing in his room is welcoming. He has a bed and a wheelchair, and we have requested a recliner and still has not gotten one. The bed is about 3 inches thick, my dad is a big guy, this bed does nothing for him. If he was able to walk to the bathroom, the toilet is so low to the ground and not practicable for elderly person, let alone one who is there for rehab. Nurses complain about him not being able to use toilet but have not once came up with another solution, like bringing a portable toilet so he has a chance to get to it sooner and not make a mess, and this would help with rehab and walking as well, never provided him with bedside urinals, common sense stuff for me. So I brought our own for him to hopefully prevent him from sitting in his soiled bed. Not pleased with a couple nurses (have not met them all, and of course not all of them are bad), but the ones I had a problem with, are the ones that don't listen to his concern, or take it in consideration when they are changing him. I was there to witness how long it takes after he hits the call light, (understaffed, which most places are now a days), it was close to an hour. Thankfully he has a phone and can call me if he is distressed or needs 911. Most of these reviews on here is about community events, and not actual people who are being taken care of in this facility and should not be posted here. I'm sure those Halloween gatherings are great for the residents and community, but does not reflect the care inside those walls, outside of Holiday gatherings.
Halloween event was amazing, my kids enjoyed the story time the best! Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful free event for the community. I can’t wait until next year
Absolutely great time for all ages.We really loved the interactive story time!!! The staff was wonderful and put lots of time and effort into making sure family's had a good time. The decor and haunted house was totally spooky and very well done!!! This was our 2nd year and would recommend for all. The residents were also welcoming and an absolute pleasure to talk too. Thanks so much for allowing us to make some great memories!!! God bless Happy Halloween!!!
The entire staff is terrific. They listen and truly care. The facility may be older, but the atmosphere is wonderful. It is quiet and very homey.
