Tonight I had the pleasure of meeting Allison and David. They both were very kind and helpful. They wanted to make sure their records matched dad's needs. This was the first day. I am pleased with first impression. Update: I continue to meet and interact with very nice staff who genuinely care about the people they serve. (Lynnette, Lula, Linda,Britt, Debbie, Jade and many i didnt get their names.) And the residences are some familiar faces as well as new who add so much joy to the atmosphere. Dad is pleased with rehab staff efforts to get him home soon.

I would like to give this facility 0 stars if I was able to. I recently moved my grandmother out of this facility and it was the best decision I ever made! The staff was rude and I never got updates. I witnessed staff members screaming in patient rooms about patient care. My grandmother who has a history of lung disease and heart disease became sick and was wheezing on the phone and I asked the nurse to please have a doctor evaluate her and the nurse told me she listed to my grandmother and it was “all upper airway and she’s fine.” Then I had to beg for a chest X-ray and the X-ray showed CHF. Since October it’s been negative experience after negative experience and multiple incidents! There was also issues surrounding food. My grandmother would ask for more food or something different and she would be told no and was sometimes left with nothing and I would have to call and make sure she got food. There was a time where my grandmother had old cups of water on her tray and she asked for fresh water and the staff member told her she had to drink all the old water she already had or she couldn’t have anything else. The staff members spoke to her rudely when they didn’t know I could hear them on the phone. I feel like I could not trust this facility to give basic care or treat people with basic decency that all people deserve. I was always kind to every staff member and nurses would argue with me. The only people who were respectful were the directors of nursing. My concerns were never taken seriously and when my grandmother was sent out to the hospital, my concerns were taken seriously at the hospital. She is now at another facility and is being treated with dignity and kindness.
My Mom had a good experience with Physical Therapy this am. When lunch came she did not like the choice and asked for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich instead. The request was made and a sandwich was delivered on wheat bread. The nurse came in and also encouraged Mom to drink her protein drink. The staff was courteous and attentive,
Even though my Father didn’t want to go to rehab, he has enjoyed his time at your facility. A Big thank you to your rehab team for getting him closer to a discharge date. The staff on A Wing are amazing and the CNA’s sense of humor has kept my Father and Mother laughing everyday. Thank you all for what you do. I know your job isn’t an easy one and your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. Kudos to everyone who has been involved in my Father’s care. You all deserve 5 stars!
The front desk was well staffed. Hallway appears a bit chaotic but perhaps that is normal for such facilities. Good over all
