The residents are happy and well groomed. The facility is clean, comfortable and very homey. The staff are helpful and obviously care very much about the residents. When I have a family member who needs care, that’s where I will take them- so they can get the best care!

They take great pride in controlling the reviews that are on their site. You are only seeing the ones they will allow you to see. All the negative ones are controlled by THEIR headmaster. If you want to euthanize your loved ones without being charged with MURDER, then choose Lewiston Transitional Care. Nurse Practioner Six will help while your loved ones go down hill. He knows nothing. Don't waste your money. NEGLECT...NEGLECT...NEGLECT
Hello folks, I hope this review helps take some stress off of you in search for a place to get yourself, or your loved one healed up, or to stay. My mom is currently here. First and foremost everyone working at this facility is caring and considerate. All the nurses are GOOD. CNA's etc. You have to remember just like any place they are going to get busy with other residents meds, requests, etc. So if you push your button and they don't come in 30 seconds, don't stress about it, they will get to you. Every time I have been there to see my mom they always treat me with respect and get taken care of what I ask. Another thing to remember, skilled nursing is bound by the laws of the state. So if you do not make clear what you want, you may have a hard time getting it done. Emails are not the best way to make your wishes be made known. Catch them on the weekdays in their office, and follow up if you have to. House Dr. Usually comes in on the weekends. This is the best place to stay in the area other than Lewiston Advanced Health Care. They are good too. I wish you all the best. (PS, your loved one is important to you. Make frequent visits. Its every bit as important as what they do there) They need you.
This place was a snake pit when Debbie Freeze was Administrator there, I hope it's improved.
This place does not take care of its patients well at all,they wait till they are seriously before they try to help if they try to help
