I had a brief experience at Leominster rehab. Some upgrades needed in the building. The social worker is amazing. Rebecca was always available for questions and support. Best social worker I have ever met. Also my nurse Leslie was so good and compassionate. Highly recommend

I am one of the patients at the rehabilitation and I am Deaf myself and guess what? There is no Deaf friendly environment or reasonable accommodation at that facility as an ASL interpreter is provided and even video relay interpreting is not provided I had a flu bug and assumed it was 24 hours from my knowledge to stay in my room after 24 hours the head nurse let me know I was supposed to stay in my room which meant not my knowledge from other nurses who did not communicate that I had a restriction to stay room however I have PT provide me exercise as their require to guess what I left my room less than 24 hours to the gym is there something wrong with this picture As the room bed is a jinx and half-butt comfortable and the room freeze has draft out from the window and learned that the heater comes from the hallway not by the room which means I have to leave open the door all night to bring the heat but the light is bright enough make me unable to sleep Shocked for me I had no water in the bathroom just a low-pressure toilet and cold unable to do my wash up myself. I have to deal with a bucket of soap and water The food service is very shameful and worse than fast food restaurants I am not going to detail how they cook and once they are done with food and just sit and wait to deliver to patients and suddenly the food is cold personnel don't want to hear up at microwave I am not nuking freak and staffs show disrespectful how they are not toasted the English muffin and I suspected they baked the scrabble eggs in the oven My huge pet peeve from the PCA and CNA not showing their care and response when I page button that I need something neglected more than 10 minutes finally decided to walk out of the room and watch where are they one of them in the dining room talk on the phone and one of hide the hallway in the dark and just walking and wandering around slowly and no warm welcome I was so furious I wish anyone admitted to this rehabilitation the best of luck understand I have been here for 8 days and I am about to scream them out to transfer to another rehabilitation that can provide accommodation my needs and report to the elderly state, masshealth and Department of Public Health
Each and every employee carries their hearts on their sleeves each and every day. Hard working, dedicated and compassionate about the care they provide. The staff go above and beyond to make this place a home for each resident.
We unfortunately had to place our brother in a nursing facility for long term care in April 2024. Leominster Rehab and Nursing was able to admit him. He has only been there a short time, but our experience has been fairly positive. They are very understaffed but we are there visiting every day. We have had the opportunity to interact with numerous workers on a regular basis, most of whom have been very helpful. One in particular is Rebecca Powers the facility social worker (who I will give 5 stars). She has been extremely receptive and answers our questions thoroughly. We see her roaming the building often and makes herself available to interact with us and my brother. Nursing homes are an emotional place to have to place a family member but it makes us feel a little better that Rebecca has been so helpful.
Rebecca was definitely one of the highlights of my stay here. What a pro. She was so helpful in facilitating all of my endeavors throughout my stay. I will miss her.
