I know someone who is living there and they are unhappy with the food. They were told by their doc to put on weight but they try and the food is not good, and the portions are very small. I saw, I was shocked. Daily meds are dispensed late, too. It's horrible to have to depend on others to be comfortable. Because if your family cant take care of you, it's a place like this, and they're everywhere, and that's so sad. My sister was in a facility short term, a month, she was terminal, in a facility in Rocky River and they were horrific. No cleaning staff, I cleaned her bathroom and room and some of the aides were nasty with attitudes. One said that every time they fed my sister, she would mess herself. I'm serious. Like they didn't want to feed her because none of them wanted to clean her or prevent a mess. This is what is really going on in these places. Good luck to everyone!

After undergoing a change in ownership and management, the facility has improved greatly. They have a strong leadership team and the staff overall have a strong sense of teamwork. The staff have worked hard to remain COVID free and has communicated often with families as to how their loved ones are doing while they cannot visit. Many families have been able to set up window visits or Facetime visits with the help of the staff to keep in contact with their loved ones. They have also made adjustments to engage residents in new socially distanced activities. The courtyard has been cared for as well and is a nice, quiet place for residents to enjoy now that we have nice weather!
I was a short term resident & I saw how hard it can be for staff to answer call lights or able to give immediate additional attention during times when they are caring for so many residents at once. The food is good & they work with you to ensure you eat properly each day. I actually miss the staff I had the pleasure of communicating with. I hope everyone can make it out of the coronavirus era healthy. Thanks to the staff members that cared & showed me the respect everyone deserves.
I have been a private caregiver for many years and have been to many facilities. This facility is worse I have ever seen!!! Patients are left alone for hours, call lights go unanswered for hours, calls are never returned, emails go unanswered, complaints never dealt with, extremely short staffed, very unprofessional...I could go on and on. I have NEVER in all my years as a caregiver seen such neglect and lack of compassion for the residents. We have no choice but to depend and trust other people and facilities to care for our family and elderly. We tried to contact the owners and were unable to come up with any info or website on this place. So sad for the people that are still there.
My handicap brother was at the facility for therapy. He had been in and out of hospitals and nursing facilities for over 5 months. Lenox is the only facility that got my brother back to himself and very productive again. We really felt before we put him Lenox, that we were going to lose him. I would highly recommend this facility.
