I ask mother one every visit if she is happy at Legacy Village. Thank goodness she answered yes. It is the main reason she is 105 Angela is a wonderful person who cares for my mother. I could give many details. Trust me, she is a blessing

We looked at all the amenities, all the offerings for apartments, and settled on a villa! We were blown away at the elegance, the service, and the options for different types of living arrangements. Chelsea the sales manager was absolutely wonderful. She answered every question and didn't pressure us at all. The facility is way better than the other assisted living places we investigated.
Mom has been at Legacy of Stillwater since June 2021 (Independent Living). Before touring the facility, mom stated she could never live in an apartment. Once we walked into an apartment at Legacy, she instantly like it (especially how bright it was with all the windows); a month later we moved her in. Mom loves it there! She is always busy with the daily activities, nightly movies, OSU game day gatherings, social/game groups, Friday happy hour and field trips. Everyone who works at Legacy is so friendly, and they make mom/us feel part of one big family. The joy in mom's voice when talking with her brings our family peace knowing she is loving life and her new "home". What a blessing Legacy of Stillwater has been to our family!
Very friendly, professional, caring, compassionate and helpful staff. I love coming to work with the residents. This place wouldn't disappoint you or your love ones. Great hospitality all the way around🙌🙌🙌💖💞
After my back surgery, I ended up with blood clots in my leg and lungs. I agreed (with family) to go to Legacy for Respite Care for three reasons. 1. I needed medication assistance 2. I was at risk of falling and needed to have a call button to summons help 3. I was not physically able to cook for myself I left after 4 days because: 1. My medication dosage was incorrect 3 times 2. It took staff sometimes over 30 minutes to answer my call button which would have been detrimental should I have fallen (I was told by the hospital to immediately be taken to the ER if I fell whether there was blood seen or not (due to the blood clots). A 30 minute wait time to be found and call for an ambulance was too long to safely help me). 3. The food was so loaded with salt my ankles started swelling immediately. As soon as I went home and hired someone to cook for me, the swelling stopped. I was not new to independent or assisted living since my mother was in another facility out-of-state. I was and am still shocked that senior citizens are paying very high amounts to not be promptly and correctly attended to and are fed food that is neither heart (no diabetic) friendly. Oh, and I almost forgot, the issues were not the floor staff, but the management. New CMAs were left on their own the very first day on a wing. There was not sufficient time to learn what each patient needed and when. Also, floor staff were not consistently assigned to specific wings, therefore it’s difficult for them to assist quickly if they are dealing with a learning curve with each new assignment. AND….when I initially tried to contact a manager on the Saturday morning I decided to leave, I was informed there were no management people that worked in the complex over the weekend.
