This place looks nice from the outside but it is very poorly managed. My mom often misses meals and the food is usually pretty terrible. The weekends are completely understaffed and I always find her room a complete mess. Piles of plates not cleared, old food and very rarely is she checked in on. Having brought this to the attention of the Director many times, nothing ever improves because he doesn’t care about fixing anything. He will just give you a list of excuses every time and your loved one will suffer. Sometimes it’s ok but overall a dismal experience for my mother.

When my parents made the difficult decision to move from their beautiful home to an assisted living facility, we researched and visited several in the Salt Lake and Utah Valleys. Walking into Legacy Village was a uniquely special experience for all of us. It is a beautiful facility; clean, nice smelling, beautifully decorated, wide hallways, and all of the amenities we would have hoped for. It has a beautiful dining room, movie theater, hair salon, regular activities, LDS church services on site, nail technicians that come weekly, among many other comforting conveniences. My parents chose a two bedroom apartment that is spacious and built for easy access with walker and/or wheelchair use. As beautiful as the physical surroundings are and as much as we appreciate the many comforts, we most appreciate the people. The staff at Legacy Village is excellent. The members of the administrative and healthcare teams are friendly, knowledgable, compassionate, and responsive to our concerns. The CNAs, med techs and other staff members are kind, well-trained, and interested in my parents and their needs. As a family we are grateful to have the team at Legacy Village of Provo assisting us as we navigate this challenging time of our parents' lives. Most importantly, mom and dad now live in an apartment in an excellent facility where they can feel safe, comfortable, and know that help, if needed, is a button push away. We highly recommend Legacy Village of Provo to those facing the unwelcome challenges of aging and health changes and those that love and support them.
The admin staff and nursing staff are so friendly and kind. They love the residents and took sweet care of our mom. They were her friends and it was nice to hear them call her by name and attend to her needs or just chat with her when she needed it. The facility is clean and beautiful. Thank you Legacy!
My mother-in-law just passed Oct 4, 2023. She came to Legacy Village of Provo in Memory care April of 2019. Legacy village has been her home for 4 1/2 years. My wife and I cannot express our gratitude in strong enough terms. The Care from the CNA's Med Tech's and Administration was the best it could have been. We visited twice weekly for that time. We observed not only great care but a loving environment. My mother-in-law never complained, she loved the people who cared for her. She loved the Food, activities, and her association with the other residents. I would recommend this care facility without reservation or hesitation. This is the best place to put a loved one in Utah Valley. They even hand fed my mom, when she could not feed herself. I wish you luck with your loved ones. Jack and Michele Ferguson
My Dad and Mom moved to Legacy three years ago, and we feel they're very well cared-for there. The facility is clean, bright, smells good, and is cheerful and welcoming. Activities are provided every day and in great variety. Both my mom and dad have dementia, and when Dad was standing between Mom and the care she needed, Jared, the manager, was a great help in getting that resolved. Caring for aging parents is challenging at best, but we've been very happy with the help Legacy has provided!
