My husband recently stayed at Legacy Ridge for one month of respite care.We had a very positive experience! The staff is outstanding, caring and compassionate and the chef, nurses, activity directors, front desk staff and maintenance crew are the best! The quality of care and the peace of mind knowing that my husband was safe and well cared for allowed me to enjoy a much needed break from caregiving responsibilities. I highly recommend Legacy Ridge.

If you care about your loved one, DO NOT place them in Legacy Ridge or any facility managed by AgeWell Solvere. Since they took over in May 2024, care has plummeted while rates continue to rise. The facility is severely understaffed, leaving residents neglected and staff completely overworked. My mom, in the final stages of Alzheimer’s, has suffered due to their failures. Despite repeated complaints, Karen Castro and the management team have ignored every concern. My dad visits daily just to ensure my mom gets basic care—even bringing his own snacks because the facility often doesn’t provide them. This is more than poor management—it’s dangerous negligence. Stay FAR away from Legacy Ridge and any facility run by AgeWell Solvere. They are currently failing residents and families!
Legacy Ridge has is a wonderful place. Joyce has been there for about 2 years and the staff has been great. From the time I first toured the facility we have been treated like family. Joyce feels like this is her home and when I visit I feel welcome. The staff works hard to make this a great home for the residents and their families. They all feel more like family to me. The facility is always decorated with the appropriate theme for the current holiday. The food is always great. I don't think we could have found a better place for Joyce at this time in her life.
Staff is very friendly. Several have been there for the 14 months my mom has been a resident there. But the management, front desk staff and medical assistant turn over amount is concerning. If the staff is from an agency they don't know the residents and their needs. And may not really be trained in caring for seniors or those with dementia. But they do anything we have requested as far as housekeeping or mom's specific needs.
The staff is caring and patient. Everyone looks in on the patients. My husband kept telling me "The food is great at this hotel". Angelica and Brenda speak to him in Spanish. Latoya visits with him and takes him on outings to restaurants. Stacy is always there to give the attention he needs and calm him when he feels anxious. It is a safe, friendly facility.
