My father was a resident at Legacy House memory care ( cottages ). His care provided was excellent. I was always well received by facility management. They were always responsive to requests. Staff on the floor in the memory care unit were always cheerful and accommodating for family members. We were able to really get to know the healthcare providers. Additionally, Legacy staff were working hand in glove with hospice staff when that service was required. It was seamless to our family. While my experience was always positive, I noticed overall improvement at the facility when a change in management occurred. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Legacy House of South Jordan to others for consideration to meet their family needs .

My wife and I are residents at Legacy House of South Jordan and have been for the last fourteen months. Our family recognized that we needed the security of a safe living environment and Legacy House has definitely provided that… and we like living here. Since moving in, our overall experience has been varied, but when Bradley Taggart became the Executive Director several months ago, there has been significant improvement. Not only is Bradley a talented administrator, he has exhibited an extraordinary ability to identify and resolve residents’ concerns. The Legacy staff is courteous and does their best to see that the residents’ needs are taken care of. A myriad of daily activities allows residents to be as personally engaged as they would like. In the past, the dining experience hasn’t been remarkable, but since Pedro became the Director of Food Services, the meals have become something to look forward to. It’s not easy satisfying the palate of a group of senior citizens. My wife and I are LDS and have received great support from the Branch that meets here each Sunday and Tuesday. In addition, we enjoy the blessing of having the Jordan River Temple right next door. As residents, we need relatively little medical assistance, but daily see the compassion and care received by many of our Legacy neighbors. Overall… living at Legacy House has been a positive and rewarding experience and I can highly recommend it to anyone needing an assisted living facility.
I have seen so many positive changes since the new owner took over. First—Upgrade in food! Thank goodness as it was horrible! Activities have been remarkable in what they are doing now. I hear good comments all the time and one lady said “I want to do it all but the one day I did it all and I was tired so I’m going to have to be a little picky in what I choose to do”. How nice there are choices and gets them out of their rooms. Staff is very friendly also. Had a good visit with Brad right when you took over and he was so pleasant and working hard at making positive changes. He’s great! Judy welch
Very friendly. Willing to take the time to show us around. Very clean clients happy lots of stuff for them todo. Everyone is very informative and caring. Really professional about how the care is going to be.
My grandfather lived in Legacy house of South Jordan and loved it. Every time I visited him he would ask me, how do they find so many amazing and wonderful people to work here? The minute I walked in the door the staff know who I am and who my grandfather is. He is always smiling and has made some great friends. Last year we moved him to another Legacy Community closer to my Aunt, but it was an easy decision to choose another Legacy community.
