Lavender Hills Orange Campus is a beautiful facility! The staff are amazing with their residents! I’ve come a few times and they’re always interacting with them! The activities are great! I love how every department comes together and helps each other out!
I think that the English Meadows ALF facility at Orange does an excellent job with caring for their residents. I am not an employee of the building but I do go there a couple of days a week to do home health PT. The staff are very compliant about following through with helpful ideas that I give them to aide with improving the mobility of the residents. We recently had a couple of residents who were very close to being bed bound. But, the staff followed through on getting the residents up in their wheelchairs and promoting increased activity. Now, those residents are going around by themselves on walkers. I have also noticed how clean the residents are kept. They always look neatly attired and well groomed. This makes the residents feel good about themselves. As well, I am aware that some of the staff generously donate clothing for residents who might not have come in with adequate clothes or shoes. But, the main aspect of outstanding care there is the general kindness of the employees who work there. Many of the staff are seasoned local people in their 40's and 50's who have lived in the area for many years and worked with the elderly for decades. They often have a personal connection to the residents that is great for fostering a sense of community. I have also found the younger employees to be highly attentive to the needs of the residents and are willing to "go the extra mile." The kindness displayed by all of the staff is exemplary. I would highly recommend anyone with a loved one struggling with dementia to strongly consider placing their family member there without hesitation. Sincerely, Walt Allen
Lavender Hills is an amazing place! The residents get the freedom to enjoy their every day activities in a loved and safe environment.
My mother was in there for a short time until she passed away. Her hair was suppose to be cut which wasn’t. The big problem was Money. I paid what I was told to pay by the lady dealing with DAP and the director at Fox Trail. Now they are after me for the money DAP program is suppose to pay and charging interest. They owe me money because I paid the full month and mom passed away 10th of the month also was to pack her clothes and call me. I have yet to hear from them on that, I has call month she died. They are not very good at their jobs. Make sure you have everything right with everybody before you deal with anyone their because they can’t get it straight They don’t know how.
