I highly recommend this charming assisted living community. We looked at many facilities in the area. We are so pleased with the care my dad is receiving. The staff is so supportive. They interact well with my dad and the family. He is treated with dignity and kindness. He has made several new friends. After my mom passed he was alone for a long time. Laurel Place has been a breath of fresh air for him and the family. In addition to the care, we appreciate that room rate is all inclusive. No upcharge for each additional level of care. My dad gets what he needs, always. Whether we are dealing with the executive director, nursing staff, activities director, kitchen staff or cleaning crew our needs are addressed quickly and handled professionally. We highly recommend this quaint assisted living. Thank you Laurel Place.

As a small community Laurel Place provides a warm, homey, and caring environment for its residents. As Laurel Place’s Activities Director, it was a privilege to work along side such caring staff who many times, even when off duty, went above and beyond to make a resident’s life better. From picking up books at the library, bringing in a special dish they enjoy, to sitting at a bed side when family couldn’t be there. The level of caring for each other went beyond staff for residents. Everyone at Laurel Place cares about each other- the residents, their families, as well as the staff. It is this quality and quantity of caring that benefits us all. I will always fondly remember my 35+ years with Fairview but it is the last 11 with my Laurel Place “family” that will forever be treasured. I highly recommend Laurel Place Assisted Living as your home when staying at home is no longer feasible.
My mother was admitted to Fairview for rehabilitation after a short hospital stay; when her time was done at rehab, she still was not able to go home safely so we met with the director of Laurel Place and decided to try a respite stay until we could figure out her next move. We visited four other assisted living residences, as well as contacting a home health agency, trying to figure out something closer to family, but decided to keep mom at Laurel Place due to the excellent care she has been receiving. This is a difficult and unanticipated decision to make, and the staff at Laurel Place have been wonderful as we worked through this process to find the right place to meet mom’s needs.
My dad was so happy at Laurel Place! He had been in his own home ( one that he built) for over 60 years. Thus, we, as his family were a bit anxious about moving him to an assisted living facility. Laurel allowed him to experience the joy of activities, making new friends and some amount of independence. The staff from dietary to nursing to facilities to activities to management were beyond compare. They were all caring and competent. Quite often he would say " you girls picked a good place" as he smiled a broad and cheerful grin. We did a considerable amount of research before choosing Laurel Place. This was the best and he loved it.
I would like to strongly recommend Laurel Place Assisted Living at the Fairview in Hudson New Hampshire. My mom was a resident and during that time the staff and the director went out of their way to be respectful and so caring. My sisters and I saw this first hand but the one who raved about them was my mom. She said they were so respectful and caring that she could not have been in a better place!!! I want to thank Sylvie Cotnoir and her wonderful staff for everything they did for my mom!!!
