The staff is caring and supportive of our family member. This was the only place we felt comfortable, with entrusting the care of our loved one.

Laurel Glen has been a great place for my grandfather. The staff are very attentive, they care for all his needs and go above and beyond! He is happy and comfortable here.
I’m so impressed with Laurel Glen. There is a spirit of happiness among community members and the staff that is heartwarming. Great food, friendly neighbors, cute apartments and lots of activities too!
I have the opportunity to visit Laurel Glen frequently. I have been impressed by the cleanliness and friendliness of staff. I’m always met by residents’ smiling faces which makes me believe there is a high standard of care. I’d definitely recommend Laurel Glen for a family member.
It has taken me too long to decide to write a review but after speaking sadly to too many others about their experience with this facility I felt it was time….. if I could give negative stars trust me I would. Feeling confident in my decision of putting my mom in the assisted living part after visiting and talking to many of the other facilities in and around this area, I still felt that this was going to be the best place for my mom as she was still very much in her right mind and very much capable of living on her own This would be the best place to go. . in the process of moving the rest of my family down and this was back in 2024, My mom suffered a stroke while living there. The head nurse decided to send her to the hospital as she felt it wasn’t a stroke. It was her lack of wanting to participate to walk to communicate nothing of which sounded like my mom. From there, my mother‘s health quickly declined, bouncing from doctor to doctor trying to figure out the underlining health problems the DON at Laurel Glen decided she no longer could live there as she was much too much for them to have to take care of. But she wasn’t mind you just a few months prior. The lack of care and due diligence on checking in and helping her in less than 60 days, took a perfectly capable woman into nothing she could barely talk. She couldn’t walk. She couldn’t understand she didn’t understand, and they kicked us out after all of this.. after scrambling to find a new facility and new doctors to try and help figure all of this out sadly she was diagnosed with Lewy body dementia, and had had this going on for quite some time, but due to the lack of care and attention after my mother had a stroke, it shoved all of that into overdrive. I moved my mom down to Texas in July 2023 and by November she had passed. . Not only is this a review of awareness on folks that are cursed with the Lewy body dementia but this is also a heed warning to Laurelglen as their biggest hang up is money not care not help not what they’re out there saying they’re doing it is mainly about a monthly paycheck on a human being again if I could give negative stars to this facility, I would the staff and most importantly, the DON do not care do not show sympathy do not provide what they are charging you to provide and how sad is that when you trust somebody you love so dearly to help out and to provide a service that you are needing help with that they allow that to happen to a human being just as long as they are getting a check . Do not go to this facility. Do not put any loved one here they will not care for them. I will never forgive myself for doing this to my mom and I have to live with that but shame on them for doing their part in huge amounts.
