Overall the hotel is fine and the food was tasty. Unfortunately there were strict rules and I had to stay longer than planned and wasn't allowed to leave. Hence the 2 star deduction

I've been living here for almost a month and a half and I can't really complain. There are a few rules here that are a bit unusual, but if you behave and participate, it's fun to live here. The support team is very nice and helpful. The children and young people who live here are actually nice and funny too. There are also a few difficulties here, but the supervisors solve these things quickly. The food here is okay, no need to complain. In general, it is important to the carers that we have a successful and great time and a future and I would like to thank them for that. On nice days we do things outside and on days that aren't so great we do things indoors in the warmth. Here you are welcomed very quickly and friendly and accepted as you are. It's clean and tidy here. And here you will be supported to fulfill and create your dreams and goals.
Dear parents, If you are thinking about placing your child in this home, I would strongly advise against it. I lived in the home for six years (2006-2012). I definitely had a few positive experiences, but the negative ones far outweigh the negative ones. A positive factor is that the children have a lot of vacations. These vary in quality from hiking trips to sailing holidays and skiing stays. Some negative things would be that staff promote a hierarchy where children oppress each other. This is primarily so that the teachers don't actually have to worry about the children. There is no emotional closeness here either. The high fluctuation rate among educators doesn't help you feel at home. External sports offerings are hardly supported and if they are, they have to be extremely debated. In addition, plastic soldiers, for example, are banned because they glorify war. Even after I left the home, I stayed in touch with many people. In my time, I was an active member of committees representing the interests of children. However, the decisions of these internal committees were passively manipulated by the home management and in some cases agreements made in the committees were secretly rejected. Some things that happened to me personally were definitely not okay. So I was monitored while showering for a year due to the fact that as a twelve year old I didn't shower every day twice in two weeks. I was once left sleeping on the terrace in front of the hut on a winter vacation after I was sent back to the hostel alone in a ski resort abroad (mind you, I was about 15 at the time and didn't know my way around the city, but I found the corresponding hut after about 2 hours of searching.) I was also forbidden from dyeing my hair an unnatural color because it would reflect badly on the home. The children who regularly committed thefts or were out drunk in the city late at night but not? I have dozens more stories, but I don't want to submit this text as a novel. All in all, this home is not good. Someone may read this review and change a decision that could cause permanent harm to their child. Even after about 3 years of intensive psychological support, I have not yet come to terms with what this home has triggered in me. After moving out, many children became addicted or committed crimes. It's a shame when you think about the fact that such an institution is supposed to support children.
Very high fluctuation among employees. I wonder if the facility was ever staffed as required. The people who worked there know why people are constantly being fired here. At some point the children will grow up too. Maybe then there will be public reports about their life in this home.
Strict regime of an aging teacher. Employees fluctuate frequently. The facility is well equipped and is clean and tidy. If management were less rigid, the employees' professional skills could appear more liberated.
