Very nice luxurious holiday home. We had a bit of a family reunion at cottage 14, everything was as expected. Great beds, nice bathroom, comfortable couch and chairs, great kitchen. 😊

We were here with a family of 6, ages between 1 year and 10 years. What a fantastic location! We rented bicycles that were delivered the next day in the morning. You can reach the forest by bike within 4 minutes. Enough for every nature lover: forest, dunes and beach. In the evening we lit the BBQ and campfire. Great garden for playing and relaxing. Our house (13) does overlook the Fletcher hotel. Not the nicest view, but not something that bothered me all the time. Small things: not everything was available for the BBQ, quite chilly in the house itself and the connecting door does not open and close easily (was extra noticeable because our 1 year old constantly wanted to run to the hallway 😅). There are a few small things, but in our opinion everything pales into insignificance when you look at the location.
Kleinschalig park wat er prachtig uitziet. Wij hadden een luxe huis geboekt waar onze hond mee mocht. Je betaalt hier extra voor, geen probleem. Maar dan verwacht ik wel dat het huis schoon is. Je betaald tenslotte extra omdat je een hond meeneemt en schoonmaak "intensiever" is. Bij binnenkomst bleek de deurmat vol te zitten met hondenharen. De keukenkastjes waren aan de buitenkant smerig. Toen het balletje van onze hond (klein, teckel) onder de bank rolde bleek dat het onder de bank echt smerig was, vuil, hondenharen, etc. Ook onder het bed was dit het geval. Er kwam een paar sokken onder vandaan van vorige logees en zelfs Ferrero chocolade heeft ze gevonden in de woonkamer. Ik vind dit niet kunnen en hoop voor de volgende vakantiegangers dat het huisje echt schoon is.
Location of the park, condition of the house, cleanliness upon arrival, everything was good. We would have given it 5 stars. BUT: We were in the house in December, with single-digit outside temperatures. In the house, the electric heating only worked in the living room. There you could regulate the temperature using a wall thermostat. In all other rooms, including the bathroom, the radiators remained cold during our stay. Inquiries to the reception were unsuccessful: "The function of the heating in the bathroom is linked to the ceiling light, the heating would only turn on when the room is in use." We then left the light in the bathroom on for 5 hours, but the heating didn't come on. It also remained cold in the rooms on the upper floor. The house is therefore not recommended in winter. It's a shame, hence only 3 stars.
We spent 3 nights there and booked a house that also allowed dogs. The house was very dirty when we arrived. We've had much better experiences in other parks. Chips under the couch, hair in the sink, dirt on the floor, dirt in the fridge...
