This facility has no competent business office. Their lack of communication makes it impossible for the family to help their loved one. They pull the wrong rent amount, no notice provided to the family for a rent increase, then you're told to wait 30 days for a refund. It took them 5 months to refund a wrongful charge.
My wife has resided at what is now called Lakehouse for about 26 months. This facility has gone downhill ever since and especially so since Discovery took over management about a year and a half ago. Building is not properly maintained, the staff members come and go and especially the managent staff is often unapproachable and indifferent to problems, of which we have experienced many. Food service is always in a state of flux and meals are not designed for healthy living. Currently a new staff is being built and a lot of promises are being made, but promising is not doing. There are dozens of things we were promised and have paid for which have not been delivered.I would be hard pressed to recommend this facility at this time.
One nursing assistant that I want to give 5 stars to is Amaleigha. She's always busy taking care of us. Whether it is in the laundry room or helping in the kitchen she always has a smile on her face. Always says hi to me calling me by name. Anything we need, she's there and always with a smile
special mention of those going on and above (5+) ratings are as follows; 1. Brittney, house keeper, I make enough work for 3 and she laughs and takes care of it with a smile. 2. Caissey does the job of the 3 people before her. 3. Amaleigha she always is smiling and even though I don't require car,she greets me by name and a smile. 4. I forgot Jackien,she is the happiest person I have ever met, and she makes me smile even when I don't want to.
