It was a very nice day out so I wanted to check out the park. My family has been going through some rough situations and it was a perfect little park to sit on a swing, admire Lake Erie, listen to the birds and think. I seen several picnic tables, cute dogs being walked, a small playground and heard lots of bird song. It helped

Lovely little lake watching spot. There's no easy way to get to the waterfront but the views are still nice. Plenty of seats to just enjoy the quiet and listen to the birds. While we were there someone was playing music off a cell phone. Kinda ruined it a bit. Otherwise it was so nice and quiet.
This place is a great little spot in the area to catch a sunset over the lake for those who don’t have property right on it. I was walking from an Air BnB not far from here after eating at Petie’s and was pleasantly surprised to see it there on my way back. It’s got a very short path along the lake’s edge with benches. There is also a gazebo, picnic tables, and an open grass should you want to have a picnic. You will also find a police dog memorial and some information about a boat accident that occurred not from from its shore. I think my favorite spot is on the wood awning though. The railing is tilted and at a perfect height - making it very comfortable to just lean on and watch the seagulls and wave crash below while you peak at the city to the left. It is a very small park, and definitely geared more towards adults. Which is fine by me! But that said, it would be nice to see the space utilized more with things like the mock rain garden they had. Lawn’s are nice all and some lawn for picnics is great. But it wouldn’t hurt to add a few things I think. Along the fence line some flower beds or flowering shrubs that attract butterflies and block out the peoples yards, or maybe some bird houses to bring in more birds. A fountain or an interesting statue in the center of the green so it’s more obvious from the street that this is a park to draw people in to visit.
Absolutely stunning nature and sunset, I went there one evening and I felt so relaxed. Now it's my routine to go there at least once or twice a week, especially for the sunset view. That was awesome.
Spectacular. A small trail wraps around the park. Seats to view Lake Erie, and even a small center you can reserve for special occasions.
